already ripped a few XBLA games....long, long ago....Yea, they are a bit rare since no one rips them due to the fact that not many are available so freely unless you have an HDD connectivity kit for your 360....If I had that kit, all of XBLA games would be ripped already :P

@bxaimc: Wow. I didn't know that music could be ripped from XBLA games. Could you please upload your Geometry Wars rip? Also, do you know if it is possible to rip music from Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2? I have been looking a long time for a complete rip of GWRE2.

Thanks.

I see you did SotN. Are there embedded loop points playable by a regular WMA player or are they somewhere separate in the game code itself? In other words, is there a player capable of looping them outside of the game?
Xbox live arcade games by jurassicPieter at 4:01 PM EDT on August 20, 2009
yes, xbox live arcade games can be ripped by connecting the xbox hard disc to a pc by connecting a sata port to it or with datels hard disc drive or memory card. I don't have it yet, there's a torrent that has the xbla roms. Not sure if it's possible to load the roms from the xbox live servers on a pc directly.
I'd love to get my hands on Banjo Kazooie and Tooie and see if it's emulated. The dynamic music sounds less dynamic on the xbox live arcade version. And on rare witch project all i found were instrument files zip-file as wav.

There's a tool called wx_pirs that can read the xbox live arcade files.

For most wanako games you need bmsreader and the assault heroes bms to get the files from the data.pak file.

Here's Geometry Wars Evolved unedited, though converted from xma to wav:

I haven't seen wma's with direct looping information, but then again wma is annoying anyway.

The sound quality of Xbox Live Arcade's SotN is really poor, if I remember correctly. Compressed the crap out of everything, like no one would notice or care.

I'd be interested to know if the same could be done for DLC of 360 games in general. There was an added theme or two to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts through the LOG's Lost Challenges DLC that I'd like to have, though the best rip of that game is some Rare Witch Project line-in at the moment, so the whole thing needs looking at anyway.
Lego Island by jurassicPieter at 2:53 AM EDT on August 21, 2009
i'm working on make the lego island songs playable with vgmstream.
the extracted files:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0VSGLNXO
i gave them the extension MxSt because that's the used signature for the files in the jukebox.si file.

So far I can make some file play perfectly while the rest has a few noise problems or still some clicks in the sounds.
