They should all be equivalent. I don't know of any reason to prefer any encoder over the official one. But everything should sound the same no matter which you use.

I request "Intellivision Hi-Fi" (Intellivision lives! soundtrack please. I waited a long time for this.

Yeah that would be me CyberSpark.. he he he.. Well hope you enjoyed them ^_^..

About encoders I tend to like FLAC as in winamp you can search online database to tag a song or album :P I didn't see that option with APE.. But both sound the same pretty much.

I realized a few days ago that I was tired of waiting for someone else to rip some tunes from Grandia for me.

Me being me, the time I waited made me favor the project considerably more.

I was planning to try and fix vb2rip, but because I only had a few missing tracks I wanted, I went the easy route.

I put the Soldier Battle track .OGG files, and some light documentation in a zip, and put it up. Maybe someone else was wanting a copy of these as well.

Enjoy, if you'd like this stuff. Rip missing songs if that's your thing. Go through roughly 0x800 tracks to find hidden songs if you're crazy enough to try.

I don't know why you make so many work on the Grandia files!

simply rip the data WITH header and rename the files to .GMS
They're playable by vgmstream, with loops!

Here's an example, from PSX and Sega Saturn!

Thanks for the examples. I can definately split it up easily enough now.

I tried to get someone to explain why this info was available for vgmstream already, but I don't think it was really a big loss to have made a code. I just like the music, so I'm happy to be able to get my hands on working utilities for it, one way or another.

I have a new request.

Gyakuten Saiban Jazz Album ~Gyakuten Meets Jazz Soul~
(English) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Jazz Album

Unfortunately this album is now out of print, so I'm hoping someone here may have picked it up and is willing to rip and encode lossless.

For those of you that have never heard this before, here a preview to the entire soundtrack: Preview soundtrack
