@chillybilly Thank you for the help.

@infernus Thanks a bunch.

Is there a way to get the loop data from Pac-Man Championship Edition 2?

I have the folder from the PC version from the forums, opening the .fsb files in FsbExtractor does the same as Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (celt/ogg not having a header)

I will post GC, Xbox & PS2 Rip.

@Mygoshi - Cool, but where are you going to post it?
Are you going to post it here or on vgm.hcs64?

Answer my question carefully.
by Mygoshi at 8:42 PM EDT on August 7, 2017
On vgm.hcs64 so it's going to be seen in the joshw info pages.

Okay then. I just wanted to know.

My Asterix & Obelix XXL rip upload is for PS2. Forgot to mention it on the title ^^

@Mygoshi - Wow, that'd be great if rerip + 2 new platforms were added to VGM archives! Pardon my asking but are all those rips of Fantastic 4 (2005) going to be completely streamed ones (like GC BGM is in ADP format while audio from movies is in THP, PS2 ver. will have SS2 tracks demuxed from vids and soon)? I hope so!
Bye!

KH2 PS4 Remake by JLHack7 at 3:01 PM EDT on August 8, 2017
Does anyone have the soundtrack of the PS3 or PS4 versions of Kingdom Hearts 2 (titled 2.5 and 2.8, respectively)?

The PS3 version isn't on the PS3 Joshw server

Also, on a side note, the SFV soundtrack has 5.1 surround sound songs split into 3 files per song, that have an empty fifth channel in the third audio track. They're lossless so the empty track takes up just as much space as the full ones. Street Fighter IV's only had 4 channels (I ripped my own back in 2012)

Ahh cool. MORE Wild Arms ;) Thanks bnnm !

@Marcusss - Sacred 2 is really appreciated believe me! Somehow I only tried out a single gamerip which was either transcoded to 2.0 or only had stereo files included, I listened to it ages ago and now I can visit this OST again. I have such vague memories about what to expect from this score (apart from BG band participation)... Well I can please my curiosity right now!
BTW I'm definitely not a big fan of Bound by flame, Of orcs and men, Styx: Master of shadows & possibly some other soundtracks by this composer for fantasy VGs. His Assassin's creed 4: Black flag - Freedom cry and especially Obscure 2 are rad though.
All the best and continue ripping! GoodBye!

Hi Ultrafighter !

I believe some musicians/composers can at times have a few hit and miss releases. But some like Ari Pulkkinen and Jeremy Soule & Michiru Yamane seem to always hit !

I'm sure you will like Sacred 2.

Some games I ripped have very good music so will find out who does them.

Games like Dungeon Rushers, Alvora Tactics ,Magicite and especially Roguelands sound good as they have catchy themes. Hope the artists make more music. (Well seems all new companies..) Well Alvora is made by a collaboration of artists. I think the vgm rivals soundtracks.these days as the VGM rip is good enough and loops etc.. it is tricky these days to go with the soundtrack when the vgm rip is just as good and with looping heh ;)

I didn't try any assassins creed music yet then again I also didn't listen to Spy Hunter or Assassin type scores like Splinter Cell/Rainbow Six etc. RB6 Lockdown and SH3 were a good start ;)

I'm trying to dig around atm finding pc lost treasures so hope this Pirate finds some more ;)

I have a day off work so can rip a few more ..after I relax a bit :p

You take care too and enjoy your day.

Any good vgm recommendations ??

Mark

So, I'll be uploading two versions of the first White Knight Chronicles game. In order:
Shirokishi Monogatari Inishie no Kodou (original release)
Shirokishi Monogatari Inishie no Kodou - EX Edition (released 10 months later, this seems to be the basis for the USA/EUR versions of the game - there are new music tracks in there)

That's it.
by ChillyBilly at 11:30 PM EDT on August 11, 2017
Time for goodies:

PC

Draw Puzzle

Rocket Riot

PS2

Twinkle Star Sprites: La Petite Princesse

PS3

Blade Arcus from Shining EX

The King of Fighters XII

The King of Fighters XIII

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Not quite as complete as I'd like, this one.... I still gotta add the content for the Blade Wolf and VR Mission DLC (Jetstream is already there, though). I might be able to get those during the weekend though, I'll see)

Wii

Power Rangers Samurai

My apologies in advance about the Wwise rips (Metal Gear, the KOF titles).... I once again didn't have enough time to sort out the files, so there's a bunch of SFX tracks mixed in there. Also, I'm not sure why, but the KOF tracks loop just fine while the MGR ones don't at all. Those issues aside, that's it for now!
by Ultrafighter at 2:28 AM EDT on August 12, 2017
@Marcusss: Yep Sacred 2 turned out to be something I'd call a perfect score for any Divinity installment or just any other fantasy RPG, not overly revolutionary for its own good but still unorthodox enough. There're lots of cool sounding and even rememberable action pieces (most Dryad Fight ones and especially Shadow Warrior Fight tracks to name a few) and the game can even boast about some songs by Blind guardian (although I've never been a lover of sung stuff, my constant search for various instrumentals was the main reason I dived in the VGM ocean like dozen years ago). I'd also like to note 106_loc_skeleton_bar_51 along with desert ambience, they're nice!

On the other hand I really liked just one track from Divinity 2 extended OST and that was "The dragon terror patrol will prevail". I even looked up in my leftovers folder and apparently this exact composition's (+ its atmospheric electro mix) the only file I saved from both Developer's cut PC & Ego draconis X360 rips by Alpha23 so that complete ripped soundtrack wouldn't change my opinion I guess.
I also think I tried out gamerips for every single Divinity installment in existence and can't remember a single track from them all. Granted all those scores were pretty alright or even good but still nothing I'd ever actually want to relisten. Who knows, maybe all those Sacred 2: Fallen angel fight loops happen to be not so excellent & catchy as they seem now. Only time will tell...

When it comes to cinematic VG scores I'd firstly recommend Indiana Jones and the emperor's tomb, it has some of my most beloved and overall rememberable symphonic ambient tracks with slight touches of ethnic here and there. Some orchestral action pieces remind me greatly of original film soundtracks, maybe they were even borrowed from motion pictures themselves. Anyway PS2 rip would be most welcome, it's not really hard to do but it will require manual extraction of multiple BGM files out of a big file, then adding correct Sony ADPCM headers with right frequency and amount of channels can be done via batch file. You can try out either PC or XBox rips to grasp all what this score has to offer a listener, they're both on JoshW servers.
Psi-ops: The Mindgate conspiracy can also brag about its original soundtrack, Vincent Pontarelli's 1st and probably last work which has it all: atmo amb, Chinese traditional music, sympho rock, driving industrial and suspenseful orchestral compositions. I had no idea how to rip from XBox and never really started ripping PS2 port, I guess it's for the better because I should have firstly searched for SShd, FSB3/4 headers and such instead of scanning sound archives with Fastelbja's ADPCM player and probably getting truncated sounds with messed up interleave all over the place. Anyway for sure PC gamerip is the easiest plus it's still absent in VGM Archives so you can process this specific platform and add it to our collection here.
Underworld: The eternal war uses easily accessible PCM WAVs for BGM (rock + ambient) and typical PSS video codec with possibly (presumably) lossless audio. I didn't actually finish my own rip, I wanted to extract its big file with names for SFX but couldn't do it in an automated way (or I don't know how to use VGMT's VFS tool). You can always scan it for VAGs though, maybe there's no additional VGM there anyway.

For top-notch original music / licensed song combos you can attempt ripping any console version of either Enter the matrix or Marc Ecko's Getting up: Contents under pressure. Even if it happens to be very hard task you can always resort to computer ports, they're easy-peasy in both situations.
Evolution snowboarding and especially RLH (Run like hell) might be truly hard on XBox and semi-difficult on PS2, I'll disclose more info on request if you're interested.

Best wishes!

More stuff:

PC

Cat Quest

Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo - HD Edition

From Shadows

HellAngel

Vita

KanColle Kai

ALSO! Here is the Blade Wolf DLC content for Metal Gear Rising! I also checked the VR mission data, but all I got from it was a single tiny Wwise file with no sound (nor were there movies included), so.... yeah, I guess this is about as complete as it gets.

Actually, I also want to post an addition to a different rip I posted here already. Remember Nadia Was Here for the PC? Turned out there were some tracks that I missed the first time around due to me being unaware at the time. Well, here they are, now! Enjoy, guys!
by Ultrafighter at 1:15 PM EDT on August 13, 2017
@Marcusss - If you simply wanna listen to something new and interesting then you may try these: the very 1st R6 & Hulk '05 by Bill Brown, composer of all Rainbow six VGs before Vegas. He also scored Wolfenstein '09 & even Star wars: Republic commando although they're both not nearly so electronic as any R6 VG or Hulk.

You also can't go wrong with TRON Evolution, Marvel Ultimate alliance 1 (small custom selection of BGMs for now) & especially Battlezone (2006) in case you liked electronic action and ambient tracks from Spy hunter: Nowhere to run (all 4 titles were scored by the same duet or at least they contributed some portion of tracks to a title).
BTW Beowulf along with Dark messiah of might and magic were also composed by the very same two folks, I listened to both soundtracks eons ago but didn't quite like neither. It's pretty much probable that I'll change my opinion on them now... Anyway both are absent in VGM archives ATM so maybe you'll want to rip them from just any platform.
See you!

by marcusss at 12:41 AM EDT on August 14, 2017
Thanks for those recommendations Ultrafighter.

I remember playing Enter the Matrix when it came out but didn't pay attention to th music so should check it out.

I remember listening to Marvel alliance and was good and I always loved Tron so should check that out as well ! Mindgate sounds good too.

Divinity had some good songs. The terror patrol was that rock track hey if I remember. I liked the fortress.musics like raz's tower music and the hidden dungeon which was ice/cold where the lieing statues have a puzzle to solve.
I pretty much loved the other musics such as original sin and other new ones as they have remix or higher quality tracks than the originals. FoV had some good ones like the hospital barracks e.g.
by Ultrafighter at 2:16 AM EDT on August 14, 2017
Hey Mark, if this tiny sampler of personal highlights from scores I was talking about doesn't hook you up then nothing will! Keep in mind most tracks are transcodes though, I didn't have source files in all cases, I mean I encoded all these MP3s straight from streamed sets (mostly my own never released gamerips) but didn't save original ADPCM files. Sorry for that (as well as posting this here since it doesn't even belong to that "Streamed VGM distribution thread", times like these I miss PM option on these boards.
Wait, you said you have an FFS forums account?! Maybe you & me should better move there?

Anyway I'd also advise you to check out Tron: Evolution for PSP, BGM in that specific version differs greatly from its "older brothers" IE music used in home console variants. If you ever decide to rip T:E you'd better skip consoles I guess and jump right to PC with its PCM wave files laying in plain sight (oh, if only all VGs based on UE3 & WWise solutions were so easily rippable!). Other platforms might still have exclusive edits, mixes & even compositions though and of course they'll lack in quality compared to PC.

Regards!
PS. Almost forgot to praise MUA1 for unique music style in just every single mission! For example there're atmospheric ambient + electronic beats in monarchic alien world (don't remember the name of that race) and tribal drums + choral orchestrals in underwater location. There're many levels so much more music genres're involved! Unfortunately MUA2 soundtrack's not quite as diverse as that one from original game...

- Hard Corps Uprising (PS3) [re-rip]
- Read Dead Revolver (PS2) [with ss2 DVI vids]
- Read Dead Revolver (Xbox) [same with bik vids]

Note to PSN rippers: for .PKG you want to use "PSP PS3 PKG Decrypter Extractor v.1.0.0.1" by mysis, NOT "PSN PKG Decryptor & Extractor v1.85" by LMAN.

@Anusfest - Does you DC rip of TrickStyle have anything besides CD Audio? I have suspicions there might be sequenced BGM in the title but of course I couldn't rip it myself back in the day.
@Marcusss - I think you might be interested in ripping and checking out the following scores: Mortal kombat vs. DC Universe, Stranglehold and especially Darkstar one since they're all composed by Dynamedion who also did Sacred 2. You should remember me mentioning Stranglehold & MK vs. DC quite some time ago, I was originally intending to get you interested in those soundtracks as other scores by Cris Velasco & Sascha Dikiciyan (they both contributed to numerous personal VGM favorites of mine, I can count their highlights all day long). Maybe you'll become much more curious if I present you MK & Stranglehold as earlier works by creators of Sacred 2 OST... What you say?
Bye all!

I think you really will like Gate of Memories. Music is good and high quality too. Even better when the pcmfloat tracks are.supported but the main tracks starting with gom_ are pretty good.
Should be up on the server soon. Lots of new VGM goodies ;)

The process would be faster if people would submit sets with release date/publisher information.
Having to find this data manually is time consuming and (let's not kid ourselves) boring as hell.

Please, make my life a bit easier. Include the tagging data when you upload. :)

edited 12:28 PM EDT August 17, 2017
by bnnm at 5:03 PM EDT on August 17, 2017
May I ask, do we really need all that info on the filename, over (say) a link to gamefaqs, info txt/m3u, or user-edited db/tags (if datschge could add such option)?

Date/dev/publisher don't say much about the composers or formats. At least now with vgm.hcs64.com you can search, but it's not something I think people would normally use.

As you say it's boring and time consuming to fill, why not saving us all the trouble? :)

***

@Ultrafigher - about Life is Strange unsupported .bik. can you post a couple of small original, non-demuxed vids?
by Knurek at 5:48 PM EDT on August 17, 2017
@bnnm: You have to remember all of this started as a folder on my computer. I like to have things organised, and having that data available allows for some nifty things like chronological playlists, or easy search for games from a select developer.
I'm all for a better, automatic solution if anyone has means and time for implementing one.
by AnonRunzes at 6:00 PM EDT on August 17, 2017
@Krunek - So my Switchball PS3/XBOX360 rip was deleted because of that? The filename of those rips had the name of the game, the date of which version was released, the developer and the publisher. And I can't seem to find it for some reason?

I've been saving time for you in case I wanted to upload my rips in there, so why don't you do the same?
by marcusss at 6:30 PM EDT on August 17, 2017
Hi Knurek. Looks like my rip of Aurian got corrupted. Maybe I was uploading it as you grabbed it or just crapped out..as the complete rip is still on vgmupload server and is about 256 MB. On the release page it shows as 1.28 MB only.

Thanks for your work as always

Btw music is very different to standard tunes. Lots of tribal beats, vocal and wind instruments. It is a nice change ;)

I noticed that the rip for the DS game "Lunar Knights" is missing one file, "077 Wireless Battle". I was a bit surprised seeing as whoever ripped it got everything else and even tagged them in accordance with the in-game Jukebox.

Also, I believe there might be an issue with the rip of "Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories" for the GameBoy. I can play the files, but there doesn't seem to be any actual audio. I don't believe this is a problem with foobar2000 since I have no trouble with other GBS files. If memory serves me right I may have come across a couple other GameBoy rips with this issue, but I cannot recall at the moment.

It's that time again:

PC

20XX

Aeternum

Inferno 2

Inferno Climber (NOT related to the above rip despite the title)

Xenoslaive Overdrive

PS1

Gamera 2000

Hermie Hopperhead: Scrap Panic (I meant to rip the audio from this and Gamera's .str videos, but unfortunately I forgot and uploaded them as-is, lol. I can still upload the converted files later if it's an issue, though)

PS3

Is there anything to be done about the flawed state of the Metroid Prime Hunters rip? All the hunters' battle tracks are combined into one 2-channel track, which is pretty cool, but at the same time exactly what I don't need, and several of the tracks have extra instruments or at least they're louder than when heard in-game.

Whoever keeps uploading StarCrawlers on the server - the rip is already available on pc.joshw.info, any reason for reup?
by bnnm at 5:27 AM EDT on August 20, 2017
Uploads:
- Lost Dimension (PS3)
- Puppeteer (PS3) [re-rip]
- Dead Space (PS3)

For Puppeteer I don't have an splitter at hand so you'll have to rely on vgmstream's latest gimmick. There are songs in the ambient packs so I included them.

Dead Space has lots of tracks with some sfx/ambiance mixed with music and tension-sfx-almost-music, could be trimmed more but it was too much. Looping will be fixed later.

@Knurek - after fully uploading Dead Space and getting to the "transferring" part I get a DISCONNECTED but the file size looks ok, can you check?
by datschge at 5:42 AM EDT on August 20, 2017
@bnnm - Transferring happens when the upload is already completed (A->B) and the data is forwarded to the joshw.info server (B->C), a disconnected (A->B) at that point doesn't matter (I guess the connection A->B just got cut with no data being exchanged for too long). You managed to upload the complete set two times btw. ^^

Btw @Knurek - any reason why "Duel Masters - Birth of Super Dragon" wasn't updated with anusfest's additional streams? Wanted to download them.

by Knurek at 6:26 AM EDT on August 20, 2017
@datschge: The Duel Master streams have been on server for quite some time, unless I'm missing something.

//EDIT: Actually scratch that, something happened to the 7z file - as it has 40+ MB, but only extracts 13+ MB of PSF2 files.
Will reup.

@Knurek - if you still have GTA V converted streams, could you upload a few of the WAVs?
I'd download it but a 25gb mammoth just to get a few files...

@bnnm: Sorry, like I said earlier, I don't have PC archive locally.

(OpenIV should be able to convert them though AFAIR)

Some more pc rips uploading to the server.

* For the King (IronOak Games) (2017-02-28)
* Blue Horizon (Blue Horizon Studios Ltd) (2017-08-19)
* Kings Bounty The Legend (1C Company) (2008-09-23)
* ZHEROS The Forgotten Land (Rimlight Studios) (2017-04-25)
* Vikings - Wolves of Midgard (Games Farm-Kalypso Media Digital)(2017-03-25)

Btw lately quite a few soundbanksinfo.xml contain hundreds of names but the batch renamer does not work so one must manually rename them so constant switching between the xml and rename the file can be tedious. I guess it is a different structure to the common soundbanksinfo.xml??

Is this one of those games that uses an oddball sound format? I can't find an archive for the soundtrack.

For Mega Drive VGM logs project2612.org has been inactive since 2014, but users on their forum are still gathering new and updated sets. I've got the 59 sets since the last update, will go over and upload them here.

Edit: Done uploading.

Would be good to take a look at them :-)

A few more PC uploads

* Formula Fusion (2017-06-01)(R8 Games Ltd)
Reminds me of wipeout a little
* Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition (2017)
* Imprisoned Light (2016)
Really old skool-ish tunes and beats. Lots of se /samples from old games. Short and sweet beats.

* Fighting Fantasy Legends (2017-07-27)(Nomad Games) Very good music..was a pain to split the single music file as no program recognised the music after the 1st song. Gah.

* Ken Folletts The Pillars of the Earth (2017-08-16)(Daedalic Entertainment Daedalic)
* The Storm Guard:Darkness is coming (2016-08-25)

PS2

Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana [Iris no Atelier - Eternal Mana] (2004-05-27)(Gust)

Decided to completely re-rip this game as it was missing quite a few variations and streamed music.

For some reason some tracks play slow. I'm thinking its a bug with AOPSF player for foobar as this problem never happened on the old PSF2 set either but happens now.
by Vector Harbor at 7:41 AM EDT on August 24, 2017
For Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix, the music is not sequenced but rather package in a file that you need to extract. http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?t=120245&highlight=Dance+Dance+Revolution+Mario+Mix

Woah I wanted to listen to Sabotain score for ages now but somehow I've never even really searched for gamerip or attempted to do it myself. I'm wondering if soundtrack is gonna be like that from Neuro hunter, Utopia city or even Paradise cracked (wishful thinking LOL!)...
Anyway thanks for providing your set as well as adding some more rips to VGM archives! BTW How did you like TRON: Evolution & especially Psi-ops OSTs (I mean original soundtracks, not any official music releases of course since they're mostly absent in both cases)?
Cheers!

Hey Ultrafighter,

Tron sounds pretty good. Lots of electronical style or pumping music. The PC version uses 48khz 1536kbps wav files for its music so it is great!
PSI ops is good too. Uses adpcm (.med) pity is only 32000hz but yes the music is good.
Sabotain is not bad also.

I like Spellforce 2 Anniversary edition as has plenty of relaxation music and contains a couple DLCs too. I Highly recommend it!

The samples you provided were good also !

Thanks

Mark

PS3

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

So this is pretty much the entire audio folder right here in Wem file (the original extension for the file were in dat. file). It has the music & the dialogue. Feel free to separate the music from the dialogue.

Channel : 1 (58.5%); 2 (41.5%)
Sample rate : 48000 Hz (97.1%); 44100 Hz (2.9%)
Avg. bitrate : 94 kbps

~ Enjoy

I have much to share today:

PC

Gigantic Army

Lupinball

Satazius

Steel Strider

Super ComboMan: Smash Edition

Switch 'N' Shoot

Witch-Bot Meglilo

Wolflame

Zangeki Warp

PS1

'70's Robot Anime: Geppy-X - The Super Boosted Armor (Not that much music here, truth to be told.... but plenty of cutscene audio!)

Harmful Park

Kyuin (Just rename the .DA extension to .WAV to play these. Also, I had trouble ripping this game's movies for some reason.... I'll get back to that at some point)

The Simpsons Wrestling (I had issues with this game's .vag files.... which I brought up in the vgmstream thread)

PS3

Okami HD

Xbox 360

Culdcept Saga

Dennou Senki Virtual-On Force

BTW, I should also mention that I've deleted some of my older uploads (chiefly from last year) in order to make room for the newer stuff. If there was anything among the deleted rips that anyone wants reuploaded I'd be glad to oblige, but more or less everything I've posted here should have already been mirrored by Knurek at this point, so I'm not sure if it's really necessary. Just wanted to throw that out there as a heads-up!
by Ultrafighter at 2:34 AM EDT on August 26, 2017
Hi Mark! Here's another sampler for you, it contains VGM from projects by the same studio and music there might be similar to that score from Sabotain which I have yet to grab and try out. All 3 games are easily rippable too so that it won't be a problem for you to check out complete scores if you decide to rip them.
Bye!
@Vector Harbor: are those simply cutscene tracks with voices in them (probably all in 5.1 mix) or isolated voiceovers you're talking about? I hope the 1st assumption of mine is right...

PS2

Atelier Iris - Eternal Mana [Iris no Atelier - Eternal Mana] (2004-05-27)(Gust) - Re-upped this because a minor error.
Atelier Iris 2 - The Azoth of Destiny [Iris no Atelier - Eternal Mana 2] (2005-05-26)(Gust)

Decided to re-rip Atelier Iris 2 with all variations + streamed music. Both sets are now complete. Is there any other GUST PS2 games that need ripped?
by ChillyBilly at 11:46 PM EDT on August 26, 2017
Got a few more:

PC

10,000,000

Sky Rogues

PS1

Panzer Bandit (I noticed the currently available rip is rather incomplete, as it lacked all the streamed tracks.... so I decided to remedy that! ;))

Xbox 360

Strike Witches: Hakugin no Tsubasa (No editing on my part here, the audio indeed comes in WAV files)

Until next time!

Big thanks in advance Mark, a few new scores sound really interesting to me. It's a shame though we'll have to wait for days until they appear on servers, for example you upped Sabotain quite some time ago but I was able to grab it just today. Maybe you'll upload selected rips to usual hosts on request whenever time allows? That'd be nice!
Take care and all the best!
by marcusss at 4:18 AM EDT on August 28, 2017
@ Ultrafighter

I could just provide links but ftp is better as I can batch upload a few Gigabytes at a time;) sorr about the waiting time.

I will hopefully have a few others up as well later on if I get time.
by datschge at 4:24 AM EDT on August 28, 2017
@Ultrafighter - To avoid Marcusss having to upload the same stuff multiple times you better download his sets directly from the Joshw ssh server (where all the new sets are uploaded for Knurek).
by marcusss at 7:17 AM EDT on August 28, 2017
Ultrafighter can log into ftp and get them as they are already accesible aren't they just like I can see other people's folders as well as the https://vgm.hcs64.com/ uploads? I mean as long as they have completed right?

I will upload more soon but most or all should be there by now.

I previously ripped DD Dark Arisen on x360 and so decided to do the pc version as well. At least it is ~500kbps 5.1 ogg and not the same XMA set ;)

Uploading

* Silverfall (2007-03-20)(monte cristo)

* Silverfall Earth Awakening (Monte Cristo) (2008-02-21)

Uploaded:
- Final Fantasy X HD Remaster (PC)
- The Legend of Spyro (X360)
- Red Dead Redemption (PS3)
- Grand Theft Auto V (PS3) [included most streams, could be trimmed down]
- Dante's Inferno (PSP) --bms
- StarCraft + Brood War (PC)

GTA5 PC data is mostly encrypted (somebody would need to donate a gta5.exe, for science) so I offer you 32khz MP3 from the PS3 version instead. Incidentally X360 uses 32khz XMA2.

For StarCraft I have the movies too but I'm trying to demux them.

***

Micro-guide to rip Rockstar latest crap:
- Rockstar's RAGE engine (GTA5, RDR, Max Payne 3, etc) saves most of it's data in .rpf archives.
- .rpf are encrypted using an AES variation so you need the key and a program to open them.
- keys are super sekrit and you are supposed to extract them yourself from the exes but here are some
- programs needed:
* OpenIV for GTA5 (PC/PS3/X360), Max Payne 3 (PC): gets PC keys using the .exe, for PS3/X360 use a encryption_key.bin
* (alt) libertyV for GTA5 PS3/X360, uses key_ps3.dat/key_x360.dat
* RPFTool_v1.3/OpenRDR_v.0.1 for RDR/MC/MP3 PS3/X360
- Tool pack as some of the older tools are hard to come by.
- Once you have the key/program you should be able to open the .RPF and navigate to find the .AWC in some subdir.

It was annoying as hell, considering I just wanted some RDR songs, maybe this would help others.

If you don't rename them to .logg, then whatever player's stock Ogg Vorbis decoder will handle them, and those usually do not handle looping of any sort, nor do they provide the means to bolt on looping.

From now on, bgm04.at3 is my personally official "Happy Birthday" song (unless this one on the 3DS has the song in it, at higher quality audio. I didn't notice it when I listened through it, but maybe I missed it). I kind of wish I knew what the rest of the lyrics were though. If I ever participate in another birthday party, I'll be sure to play this song. :D Mouser X over and out.
