Neon64
is a Nintendo Entertainment System emulator for the Nintendo 64, written
in MIPS assembly. It can be run on the N64 by using a backup
device, such as a v64jr or 64drive, or it can be loaded over a parallel port with a Gameshark Pro.
Neon64 v2.0 is under development. This is a rewrite using the bass assembler and a new architecture. It isn't complete, but it already improves on v1.2, with a smooth framerate and better accuracy. The latest beta release is v2.0-beta.4. This is an open source project, check out the git repo for source code.
Visor's Neon64 With Savestates 0.3c is based on Neon64 v1.2 and adds convenient features.
