i'll remake Battalion Wars and Megaman when i get back home from school (evening school is much better than normal "day-school" ;) )

//EDIT: and should i add both tracks (Left an Right) or only one?

If you add only one, then it will be "flat," spatially speaking, because you'd be removing either the right, or left channel of that track. Without both "R" and "L" files present, the stereo effect is lost. Basically, just leave it the way it was when you pulled it out of the GC image.

To get an idea of what I'm talking about, why don't you rename some of the files so that they no longer match, and listen to it then, and compare it to when both files are present. There's a huge difference (at least there was for Metroid Prime). Also, it's wise to give all the tracks a breif listen through before you torrent them, in case any of the files have some problems. Again, thanks for the new sets. Good luck with this, and I look forward to more. Mouser X over and out.

Alright, I got the Super Monkey Ball 2 DSPs, and they sound GREAT. Thanks you for making them available Mouser X.

Just a note about Super Monkey Ball 2, if any of you have an opportunity to play it, be sure to do so. Although the game may seem it was designed for 8-year-olds, I would challenge any kid under the age of 10 to beat it. The game is incredibly challenging, and is a lot of fun. One of the most amazing parts of the game is the backgrounds. They are very complex, and they are almost as interesting as the levels themselves. There is also a lot to be said about the music - it fits the levels perfectly. Anyway, enugh of that.

Thanks again Mouser X, and I will keep an eye out for that SMB 1 torrent.

Thanks a lot.

I have finished downloading Super Monkey Ball 1, but I haven't started a torrent because the audio it uses is currently not supported. I'd rather wait a bit to see how that turns out before I start a torrent of it. Sorry.

Other than Luigi's Mansion (which I've seen, but haven't gotten yet), is there anything else others may want? Currently, some soon to be available sets would be Mega Man X: Command Mission (if all goes well, I'll have 2 pieces left to download by the end of today), Lego Star Wars (It's a great game, and it's smaller than the PC version, so I figured why not?), and, maybe, Skies of Arcadia Legends. I've heard it uses DSP, so I'm downloading it to find out just how much it has.

The biggest problem I'm running into now is hardrive space... If you've downloaded some of these audio sets, please help seed. I need to get rid of some of these sets off my drive, and I can't do that if I keep seeding. Thanks in advance. Mouser X over and out.

You need a hd for christmas, mouser :-)
by Emil007 at 7:41 AM EST on November 29, 2005
hmm, i need a HD too, i have 150 GC-Isos on my hd, they are using about 100GB XD

but for now i am burning a part of them on DVDs because i need the space for DSP-Sets ;)

@Mouser i would help seeding but i think seeding my Sets with only 40kbs up is much more important than seeding other sets

Show off! ;p

I will see what I can do as far as seeding goes. My connection is not that fast. (It took me 3.5 hours to get SMB2.)

Have you notified hcs about the format of the SMB music? Does he think that it will be supported soon?

I cannot think of any particular DSPs at the moment that I would like to have outside of Luigi's Mansion and Super Monkey Ball. Thanks for the offer though.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. That comment about by Nintendo about music ripping was neat. I wish that they had the same feelings toward ROMs. :)

Thanks for your help Mouser X.

Ooh, Skies of Arcadia Legends gets my vote.

Mouser X, just out of curiosity, specifically what format does Super Monkey Ball use? Will the new in_cube plugin be able to play it? Just wondering. Thanks.
