I recall someone had the ADX of super monkey ball adventure. I'd like to have them. I can't find a complete SMB Adventure Rom Anywhere so I could extract them myself.

Well... now that HCS opened back up the bonus directory/upload FTP, I've uploaded and verified The House of the Dead 3 (ADX) and ESPN International Winter Sports 2002 (DSP).

Someone who has access to the main FTP can go ahead and move em' over to the main directory, whenever they feel like it.

I should now have *every* streamed set available (either from the HCS tracker, or HCS's site... If it wasn't on one of those two, then I don't have it. Unless it's one I ripped, and never uploaded...). As such, I've been attempting to run some comparisons across various things. Hopefully the end result will be a SFV (or similar) file to check the various sets (both compressed, and uncompressed) against. I've run across a few instances where some sets are more complete than others, and where some sets are in need of cleaning (LEGO Star Wars has empty, and therefore pointless, directories in it, as well as useless files...). The biggest problem I have encountered thus far is that Emil007 and Sir-Sabin both ripped, and distributed, Mario Smash Football/Super Strikers. However, as far as I can tell, they were ripped from two very different versions of the game. One has lots of IDSP files (Emil's, mostly), and one seems more complete (Sir-Sabin's, it looks like). Sir-Sabin's also has IDSP files, but they're mostly the chanting, and voices, and stuff. It looks like Emil's rip has IDSP files of lots of stuff...

Anyway, while I haven't succeeded in putting these up on a torrent (and probably won't be able to. My ISP is complaining about my internet usage), I hope that I'll be able to at least provide a means whereby people can verify their sets against a more robust system.

When I get these SFV (or similar) files available, I would greatly appreciate it if people would use them, and tell me the results. If there's any issues, I'd like to correct them where possible. Hopefully, I'll be able to make these available soon (expect a week or 2... I don't exactly work quickly).

Anyway, I just thought that some people might appreciate this information. Mouser X over and out.

Hey hcs, I hear rumor that you actually converted the Star Fox Assault DSPs to an MP3 gamerip. If that is the case, would you be so kind to post a list of tags for the DSP files? I would appreciate that.

I'm not sure where this rumor came from, if there is such a rip it is not by me.

OK, I did a little more research, and I think that I know what is going on. It seems that some people at gamingforce.com are taking rips from the bonus folder, converting them to MP3, and then crediting you for ripping them. I see that they have done this for Battalion Wars and SFA. (And possibly more.)
