Lego Games use it on the ps3 , like lego star wars: clone wars

Chances are pretty high that its Windows counterpart isn`t able to play those back either and that`s probably true for any other ports of the plugin. What I mean is that MSFs aren`t playable with help of VGMStream as of yet merely because of their contents. This "MSF" type of audio file is actually a container holding differently encoded tracks or sounds and in this regard it`s really close to FSB or XWB.

So best possible solution for your problem would be extraction of MSFs contents and experimentation with them. My guess is that you aren`t talking about MP3 or PCM WAV containing ones since VGMS should play these 2 no questions asked and even if it`s not the case one can extract MP3s using just any extractor / scanner / parser available out here (out of those supporting MPEG1 Layer III kind of header of course). As far as I`m concerned MSFs shouldn`t hold headerless MP3s inside.

As for more serious troubles and their respective solutions I`m recommend trying Alpha23`s script named accordingly to its purpose: msf_convert.bms and located in his own XeNTaX forum thread dedicated to scripting. It should extract either PS2 ADPCM encoded files (however this is such a pare case that I`ve only encountered it once so far) or Atrac3+ tracks (ATM these are only playable with the Foobar`s version of VGMStream) or original Atrac3 musics (for this one a specific codec is required however it`s quite easy to find and install).

This probably concludes the list of most possible troublemakers and I`d like to apologize for a bit of offtopic brought to the topic. I hope that at least some part of this info somehow helped.

winamp with vgmstream is telling me it's Playstation 4-bit adpcm and you might be thinking of another game that uses it, the lego games all use the same thing exspt (i'll fix the spelling later) Clone Wars, it has 6 channel msfs which will crash droidsound on my phone (5.1 isn't support on it)

EDIT: and at3 is playable in droidsound you might be thinking about the .dat files they come in

Sir-Sabin, if you have a file that should be playable with vgmstream for example and it refuses to run on Droidsound, give me the link to the song and I'll check it.
