Which brings me to the question of "If I amplify purely digital content, does it creat articfacting like increased noise"?
by simonmkwii at 11:09 PM EST on February 16, 2018
In theory, yes, but it will never be audible.

@simonmkwii - Are you able to rip the midi and soundfont for the Mii Channel? I'd love to get my hands on them!

On the topic, I can share some of my personal Dolphin dumps of the Wii System Menu (with intro sound), the Wii Shop Channel, and all four variations of the Mii Channel. I've converted these all as lossless BRSTMs.

Wii Audiostuffs

Note these were recorded through use of the actual Wii channels themselves, as the dvdroot method isn't capable of processing any reverb, which matters especially for the Wii Shop Channel. Because of this though, the Mii Channel variations are all recorded as separate tracks since I can't mess with and dump the channels individually.

EDIT: I can however include my dumps of the Mii Channel and Wii Shop Channel with no reverb if anybody's interested. The Mii Channel this time around is a single 8 channel BRSTM.

@mariofan12ify
Here you go: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Akp2zcjaqG8PkiMWcSNAlXWSvdBx

Note: There is a midi channel I recommend disabling, it's the annoying looping noise made when you pick up a Mii.

@MoldyPond
In other words, THE MENU THEME IS TOO DAMN QUIET!!!

@simonmkwii - Thanks a bunch!
@ArcticJaguar725 - How did you get rid of the reverb, if you don't mind me asking?

@simonmkwii aaaaaaagh the onedrive doesn't want to download it, can you upload the Mii Channel midi in mediafire?

@mariofan12ify there's a slightly complicated method that can be found in this thread. This method is a bit of a pain to work with, but it allows for more control over the playback of sequenced BGM found in BRSARs. I used it to dump all of the music from Animal Crossing: City Folk, but I didn't actually notice the lack of reverb was an issue until recently, so I'll have to look at the main game and figure out whether or not I have to redo some or all of the dumps at some point.
