Does anyone know how to open .RWSD -files? [Solved!] by RipperRoo at 7:46 AM EDT on May 23, 2008
So, I've downloaded a .ZIP -file which did include some .RWSD -files. (It is supposed to be music from the game Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party.)
Sooo, how do I open .RWSD -files? Does anyone know?
They're audio files. You can play them in Winamp using in_cube, or VGMstream. In_cube is being replaced by VGMstream, so I'd recommend VGMstream, where possible. If you wish to have in_cube and VGMstream installed at the time, then rename "in_vgmstream.dll" to "in_!vgmstream.dll" which will only work for Winamp. Other players (XMplay for example) require that you use a HEX editor to change the internal name of VGMstream to "!gmstream". The reason for doing this is to ensure that VGMstream is loaded before in_cube (because the formats that are currently supported by in_cube will soon be supported by VGMstream. But they're not *all* there yet, so that's why in_cube is still available).
