What worries me is that either A) some bot has gotten past HCS's "security" (not necessarily hard, but hey, this place has been running for how long with minimal/no spam?) or B) An actual person actually wasted their time to post that...
If it's A, then HCS might need to find a way to increase security. If it's B (which I think is sadly more likely), then someone needs psychiatric help. Unfortunately for all of us, fixing B is beyond HCS's current capabilities. Mouser X over and out.
definitely B by -FDM64- at 1:24 AM EST on December 22, 2008
This is the first spam I can think of. It might have just happened automatically, otherwise I figure the guy would have taken the time to use the actual tags. But then again plenty of legitimate users can't figure it out. The logs show that he tried to post to the guestbook first, but I guess he was thwarted by the "copy & paste" security.
It looks like he came from google, searching for pre-spammed sites. There was a spam entry in the guestbook back in 2005 that I guess made it show up in the results, and he followed the forum link from there. Yay logs.
So in conclusion, probably just a human rushing to spam as much as he can. Possibly with no English skills.
