GC Stream DB gone by nensondubois at 11:59 PM EST on January 13, 2009
You probably already know this but the GC stream DB is down and I'd like to know what game's format are supported with the new VGMStream and that I am able to dump gamecube and Wii ISOs and explore them; extracting the audio folders so if you have the link or any relevant info on the games please post it. Also I need to know of some good file hosting sites for the game music I will dumping. Universal Studious will be up tomorrow if I can find the proper uploading site. Thanks.

Here is an archived version, go nuts.

Here's the original one. Take note that this is the actual GC streamed DB, as it's on HCS's old site. Thus it allows you to add and edit your entries still. Though, I don't know how long that will remain valid. However, Prime Blue's link is still nice to know about. Once HCS's old site goes down, it's good to know there's a copy somewhere else as well. Knock yourself out, but be warned that the GC DB is very extremely outdated, and I'm pretty sure HCS has no intention of bringing it back. I don't blame him though. VGMstream has such a wide variety of supported formats that quite often, if a game is streamed, it's supported (or, can be supported fairly easily, unless it's XMA). Enjoy. Mouser X over and out.

Sequenced games are still not supported with VGMstream, I assume and also why can't the XMA format be supported? I still need to know of a god place to host my dumped VGMstream formats.

I will post what games are format playable that were not in the database until I find an efficient file upload site.

XMA can't be supported because we don't know how to decode it. Similarly with Atrac3+.

Hardware decoding for XMA, it's decoded in the x360's southbridge and then stored as PCM in the RAM.

By "we don't know how to decode it" I didn't mean that I don't know how to have it decoded, I mean I don't have access to code that can be used in vgmstream to decode it.
Obviously one could just use the hardware, but it is because the only decoders are in hardware that figuring out how to do it in software is so difficult. Though even if we had software decoders, reverse engineering these formats would be a massive task.

Is it copy written protected?

Then,Is the codec of ATRAC3(not plus) that exists in web an official tool?
I thought whether someone had made it.^_^;

There is source code for a Atrac3 decoder online, yes, but not Atrac3+.
