XG2 rip by Koji at 4:19 PM EDT on September 26, 2005
Just making sure here, but, hcs, you do realize that the XG2 rip sounds like crap missing most of the sound channels (or instruments or whatever,) making songs borderline unrecognizable, right? :/ Yeah, I anticipated this release (didn't actually see it coming, thanks a whole bunch for actually considering it) but it's, well, not really listenable.

Well, just wanted to point it out. If you didn't know this and could use someone that helped you checking, I'll be glad.

No, I didn't notice (not that I listened to it or would know what to expect if I did). I'll check it out, I don't have my headphones with me right now in the computer lab.

[edit]

Please tell me which song (in the sound test) sounds odd, I've got XG2 set up on my N64 right now and I'm not hearing anything obviously different.

Koji might be using v0.09 because he said that beta 1.0 crashed. Perhaps that's the difference? I haven't listened to the set myself, with any version, so I have no idea at all as to what's going on, I just thought I'd point that out as a possability. For that matter, perhaps it's the output plugin Koji is using, since that's what crashed the beta. No, I'm probably not the one to be asking for help here, I just thought that these suggestions could help out. Good luck figuring out the problem though. Mouser X over and out.

Wait... no... Now it's working fine. I'm not sure what I touched (since I've been tweaking the options for both 64th Note (beta and 0.09) and ASIO plugins to make them work,) and now I've no idea what made the change. Well, it wasn't the rip at least.

And I want to have a Doctor V64 too, hcs. :/

You might have enabled audio HLE... that would mess up the instruments, probably.
Good to know it isn't my fault (unless it's a fragile setting somewhere)
