I have some wad, wam, waa files i've extracted off the rayman ravin rabbids cd game. I'd downloaded the plug in for winamp and all i get is static when i play it. i looked at the header of the files and compared them with the source code and they are identical. Not sure why it doesn't work.

The WAM, WAC, WAD, and WAA files that VGMstream supports are from Beyond Good and Evil, which was also made by Ubisoft. However, I'm not surprised they don't work. It's not common for a single format to be carried among multiple titles, unless it's part of a developer kit.

At least you provided some files to look at. Hopefully someone can figure out how to play them, but they might not be able to. I recall that someone wanted a Rayman game ripped (I don't remember which one), but that the files were unplayable because the coefficient tables couldn't be found. Sometimes, such things aren't stored with the music, and need to be found elsewhere. Sorry I can't help more than that. Mouser X over and out.

The raving rabbids stuff is missing the DSP decode coefficient table. While the magic stuff in the header is there, that's the important thing.

I have a copy of the game, it didn't help. It should be possible, but I wasn't able to figure out it.
