Cartoon Network Racing Music by agu fungus at 3:48 PM EDT on June 25, 2009
Hey, I'm trying to extract the music from Cartoon Network Racing (PS2), and I was wondering if psf2's and/or streams can be extracted from it. So far there is a MODULES folder with irx files, but I'm a noob at psf2 making (I'm using VGMToolbox). And if the game has streams, I don't know how to extract them. I'll be thankful for your help.
If your modules folder contains "LIBSD.IRX", "MODHSYN.IRX", and "MODMIDI.IRX" you may have files that can be converted to PSF2s. Check out Neill Corlett's page and download PSF2 Starter Kit for more info on extracting the prerequisite files.
VGMToolbox automates the PSF2 creation once you have extracted the SQ/HD/BD files, checking for multiple songs per SQ along the way. While it can automatically extract the SQ/HD files needed from some sort of container file (using the Advacned Cutter), usually you'll need to view the container file in a hex editor to properly extract the BD sections and to figure out which files belong together.
