by IBUKImAsTa at 4:45 AM EDT on October 29, 2009
yea i tried it only works with a added fsb3 header but it has glitches in it
by OrangeC at 10:59 AM EDT on October 29, 2009
Its multichannel xma, 3chan.

Use this xmaextract, comes with bnw's guitar hero tools from scorehero forums.

k there is still a problem? although the track did get extracted they still have some glitches and then the song gets out of sync i dunno if its cause of towav or cause of xmaextract?
by IBUKImAsTa at 1:35 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
i dunno but i think its only the 2nd tracks gettin messed up? cause i just checked youtube and the 1st and 3rd tracks stay synced but the 2nd track doesn't
by IBUKImAsTa at 2:04 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
nope its also the other tracks, whut it does is it skips like half of sec of the track in some spots then the song gets off sync. any ideas?
by IBUKImAsTa at 4:14 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
k i found some more fsb's on the disc that are just duplicates of some songs but these are alot bigger in size and they extract automatically with towav and are on sync all the time. only thing is not all the songs are available that way. maybe the other ones are encrypted? should i post the ones that work fine and maybe someone can find a fix?
by OrangeC at 6:28 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
try it and the fsb4 header, not sure what you mean but each song has the same timeframe when i converted with the fsb4 header.
by IBUKImAsTa at 6:38 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
i tried copying the fsb4 header but i could be doing it wrong :( but here is a file u could try to compare it with this recording on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53nJO34-EE4

here's the daft punk fsb

Try adding it at the beginning of this byte

FC0001

then decode
by IBUKImAsTa at 7:02 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
can u make a fsb4 header for me? i don't know how much of it to copy exactly but did u mean decode with xmaextract then towav?
by IBUKImAsTa at 7:45 PM EDT on October 30, 2009
did u play all the tracks at once and it was synced? like the youtube vid?
by IBUKImAsTa at 7:59 PM EDT on October 31, 2009
u mind uploading the 2nd track from the daft punk one and i'll see if its just me doing it wrong.
by IBUKImAsTa at 8:39 PM EST on November 3, 2009

anyone want to take a guess at this

i was looking around the net for a FSB extractor for this purpose and i came across http://aluigi.altervista.org/papers.htm#others-file
which has an FSB extractor

so i ran it and got a .wav opened it in hex workshop and saw that it was a mp3 file. ok so i opened it in winamp, it played but skipped where all the empty data was. i tried cutting out all the empty data and ended up with a stream that almost played fluidly but sounded out of order

this was with the wii disc and i tried this on Wii\AUDIO\Audiotracks\DJH017\SinglePlayer\Medium

hope that was at least informative to someone

What, HCS's ripping tools aren't good enough for you? Since I've never used it, I don't know if the FSB extractor on that page will do what you want, but it seems more likely to work, to me, than the one you used. If it doesn't work, upload the FSB you want stuff extracted from, and someone will look at it. We can't really help you, if we can't see the problem. Mouser X over and out.

Just trying to listen to the music from the game since I like my computer/psp to listen on instead of my TV, so I wanted to be able to get the streams from the game disc.
by IBUKImAsTa at 8:03 PM EST on November 14, 2009
the wii ones u can use mp3 extract but its not as good quality as the xbox360 ones
by bnwchbammer at 1:40 AM EST on January 9, 2010
I'm not exactly sure how to use FSBii. I've extracted an FSB from the DJ hero ISO using WiiScrubber, though not exactly sure where to go from there.
