Whats going on with infamous multichanel XVAGS?

even the latest vgmstream won't play them properly they are crackly still.

The problem lies within the decoder itself. Someone may need to make a parser/splitter similar to how we can handle the multichan FSBs from like DJ Hero, for example.

Well, I've already parsed the files to playable mono SS2 but the crackling remains. Is this some non-standard PS2 ADPCM?

Sadly, no. PS ADPCM would have been a no brainer to fix. It's MP3.
