I was wondering if anyone had this set ripped. And if not in PSF2s, then in some format that vgmstream can play. You'd be doing me a huge favor if you had them! ^.^
Oh yes, Star Ocean 3, along with Radiata Stories and Valkyrie Profile 2, they all seem to use a sequenced format (not the standard one), but also maybe streams... It's hard to extract the files, because the VFS table is encrypted and there are thousands of thousands files on the disc and we're not sure for what we should look, it could be that they use an own codec... That's all I can tell you about it so far!
Yes, i stopped the disc in the ps2 drive and the music stopped, that's a sign that the music is streamed, but i couldn't find anything "known" in the files.
