just unpacked my dkcr just to find that all audio stream files are .ras they seem to have an header with some obvious values i.e. offset 0x14 is Hz ...

It works fine on all the files I tried. I'd also like to point out that there is more audio in the Title Screen music (/jungle/title3d_mix.ras) than is indicate in the header. There are actually 3011859 samples in the file that vgmstream will play if you change the file header.

I think r882 has looping correct (at least I haven't noticed any errors yet).

Is this supposed to work with r882? For me test.exe crash every time! Am I missing something please?

Working fine here, I just converted the whole thing to ogg using test.exe in WinXP. Is there a particular file you're running that crashes? Do you have the proper external dlls (see readme)?

Does the ras header have any loop info? because when i have the loop normal option in vgmstream the track won't loop and fade out.

The tiki tong track seems to cut off at the end also. unless if that was suppose to b a loop point?

Jackano, bxaimc removed some code that may have been responsible for the crashing, please check out r883 and see if it still crashes where r882 did.
