Megaman 10 music by Franpa at 8:52 AM EDT on June 30, 2011
Is there any copies of the music in the same/similar format to the Megaman 9 ones (NSF/S3M)? As the file size is significantly smaller in said formats then whatever the native format used on the xbox360 version of the game is.

Fan-made remakes for the actual NES hardware that don't quite sound like the original music?

TSSF remade the entire MM10 soundtrack in nsf on Famitracker:

http://tssf.gamemusic.ca/Remakes/mm10nsf.zip

I'm a little confused why you're asking though. "mega man 10 nsf" in google brings up page after page (after page) with that same link.

I would just download or purchase the official OST release. Those nsf fan remakes of MM9 and MM10 aren't really "THE music". There's a lot more differences than just file size here...

ty, I got the native copies of the songs from the tracker now but they play too fast. Any help with that? (XWB files)

So why do you want a game rip when there's a complete and great sounding official OST release?

You can get V0 MP3 rips of the OST here:

Or a lossless (FLAC) rip:

I obviously haven't done much/any research into it except searching the tracker lol

I'll get that, but still why does the game rip play too fast?

I for one blame Quick Man.

Good one hcs. :P

And here's V0 MP3 of Mega Man 9's OST:

http://www.mediafire.com/?na3ywwwtzjz

And lossless (FLAC) of the MM9 OST:

Because, as I already said, those nsf/s3m done by TSSF are NOT the actual and original music. And professionally mastered OST CD releases are usually better sounding than game rips.

Cool thanks, that works fine.

You know how the author of the NSF version is wondering why they used more channels then the NES could handle? Capcom may have taken into account special audio chips like what the Japanese Castlevania game used. Pretty sad such a chip could never work on a NES due to the NES design lacking the necessary pins in the cartridge slot.
