TFMX player v1.25? by RukarioGyiyg996 at 1:38 AM EST on February 25, 2012
I googled this and the only hit I got that was even partially relevant was a thread in this forum... anybody know where I can actually find a download to this?

I really don't feel like getting deliplayer to work on this POS computer.

If you're using XMPlay, you can play TFMX (and loads of other Amiga formats) using xmp-delix plugin, available here: Pieknyman's Plugins

I'm using Winamp.

The plugin I'm looking for is called "in_tfmx.dll".

And unless XMPlay has a hardware OpenAL output system\plugin I don't feel compelled to install it and use it over winamp... (I get horrible CPU usage with DirectSound because Win7 drivers for x-fi cards suck hard)

You may try it, there are ASIO and WASAPI output plugins and it doesn't use DirecSound unless you install a plugin).

Might be right up your alley, just saying. :)

I'm also avoiding WASAPI because even that gives me high CPU usage because of all the DSP BS that Microsoft put that I can't even disable even if I tick "disable all sound effects"...

ASIO4ALL is just a kernel streaming hack so I hardly use ASIO now. Hardware OpenAL is the only way I can avoid CPU usage problems regarding audio, it's rather sad.

Meh, if "in_tfmx.dll" is just mysteriously gone I might as well get XMPlay providing that there's plugins for virtually every VGM thing imaginable.

I'm starting to miss Windows XP, atleast then all audio was hardware and there was never any CPU usage issues regarding audio playback and recording.

It's scary that that random link might be the only place left on the web where the TFMX plugin for Winamp still exists. I swear the latest version used to be downloadable from the Winamp site, but no dice any more. Somebody should archive it somehow.

Don't know where you found that from but well done! I spent hours scouring the web and could only find an alive link to the 1999 build.
