Noesis and fpk files by Baptista69 at 3:50 AM EDT on May 28, 2012
Hi guys, last weekend i found by accident a program which is called noesis. Some of you might know it.I found a video that was showing you how you can extract models and textures from psp games. My problem is that the only files thati have from the games are .bin format where as the program can read fpk format. Anyone knows what should i do?
Games generally have wildly different data formats. There are a few programs that support a vast number of such formats, Noesis is one of the big ones, but it doesn't support everything.
.bin is the most generic extension possible, it doesn't mean anything. You'd have a lot more luck if you said what game you're trying to extract from.
I see that you posted on XeNTaX that you're looking at "dissidia 012 and bleach." I see that there are at least 9 Bleach games for PSP in two different series, being a bit more specific might be helpful. Also you posted in the wrong forum, 3D/2D models is the right place to get help with models. You should also search to see if the games you're looking at have already been discussed, and mention that you've done that search so that it's clear that you've made an effort.
For instance you might have found this thread if you just search for "bleach psp", though again that is for one specific game. I'm sure there are similar results for Dissidia 012.
i was trying to find psp games with the fpk formats but i had no luck so far, only bin files....i will do a more detailed research at the xentax site but any help will be appreciated.Thanx for your reply :)
