DKDSP Stereo Channel Order by ugetab at 3:41 PM EST on November 27, 2005
I'm curious if DKDSP will produce incorrect left and right channels if you if you don't feed it the file names in a specific order. Left channel file, followed by Right channel file seems to be the logical order, but I'd like to be certain.

is it possible to write an auto-dectector for the filenames? They are often calles Filename_R.dsp and Filename_L.dsp. Its boring to write ewerytime an batch-file to put them together

Sure, it's possible. Copy the code out of in_dsp into DKDSP, tweak a little.

Yes, the order will matter. I just don't happen to know which should come first.

I'm showing my inexperience with DSP related files. I didn't realize that the plugin automatically mixed the left and right channel files. Just for the inexperienced, you may want to make a note of this in a text file with the plugin, or on the download page. Because you provide a program that can combine both channels into 1 file, it suggests that one should manually create combined track files themselves.

Oh... I hadn't thought of that. That program is provided to allow people to create nonlooping DSPs for use in Donkey Konga, not to merge existing mono DSPs, since that will often break any looping they have. I make a note regarding that.
