Diddy Kong Racing problem by Static at 7:53 PM EST on November 27, 2005
"17. Boulder Canyon" is messed up. In the game, the song changes when you enter a tunnel inside the castle, instead the usf plays both versions at the same time. It could also be longer than 38 seconds.

I'm nitpicking mostly, it's a good set, thanks UNKNOWNFILE, wherever you are.

Hey, same goes for "04. Player Select". I suppose it's all the dynamic tracks, huh?

I gotta get some sleep, seriously, staying up, noticing errors in usf sets, it's just sad.

In regards to "04. Player Select" please see the text file contained in the archive with the USF set. That has been answered in there. I hope that helps, at least somewhat. Mouser X out.

I read the readme, although I didn't pick up that it was refering to those tracks until after the first post.

Still, it's not complete yet, and if nobody mentions that, it'd probably stay that way.

As an avid fan of DKR, I must take a stand. Sleep comes second.

Live with it. These versions are all according to the sound test (cheat code Jukebox) so I really see no point in fixing them.

I have spoken.

"Sleep comes second."

Well, I know how that is. However, if that's the case, why are you asking about it in the first place? If it was me, I would have taught myself assembly, and then fixed it myself. And yes, I tried that method. However, I quickly learned that sleep cannot come second all the time...

Anyway, sorry. If you couldn't tell, I've been living by the "sleep comes second" rule for to many days in a row. I need some of that stuff now. Mouser X over and out.

I have spoken.

Aww. Boulder Canyon is the best one in the set too...
Still, from what programming knowledge I have, it would probably be tricky to pull that off, since it's... dynamic. The opposite of me.

It occured to me that Banjo-Kazooie has dynamic songs too, and a brief listen proved my greatest fears. They're all good stuff, but dynamic tracks seems like something of a hurdle for the usf format, not the rippers.

Just sayin'

I really think that dynamic tracks such as Boulder Canyon should be fixed : there should be two versions of the tune, or we should be allowed to switch off/on the background tune.
by unknownfile at 6:33 AM EST on December 6, 2005
Fine, ok, whatever! I'll fix them this weekend. It'll be easy because it uses the alSeqp, and I'm familiar as to how this works.

That reminds me, when the fuck am I going to do a custom driver rip...

You know, just because you're working with a lot of older people doesn't mean that swearing angrily will make you fit in better.

Wow Unknown file, thank you very much !

Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for:

Sorry, can't figure it out. Do it yourself.
by Vincent at 5:31 AM EST on December 13, 2005
Oh, we are all disappointed. I hope someone can figure that out.

I already told you who should do it. Mouser X says it too!
by Vincent at 3:59 AM EST on December 14, 2005
I hope it will be done. It would be so nice... USF is such a wonderful thing, it would be a shame if it couldn't play everything.
