Someone really needs to update this software to support more video game music format files.

VGMTrans can't convert a midi file to (.BGM) format from (.MID) format.

Who said VGMTrans could convert midi to BGM? I think what your talking about is completely different, there is no way to convert an mp3 or any audio file for that matter into midi.

...new topic here: is there a way to make midis sound more like soundfonts? Or convert midi to dls?

You mean the instruments the midis play??? Why on earth would you want that for?

Edit: Damn...nevermind, couldn't find a midi to sf2\dls converter. :/

I think I know what you are talking about. Do you want to play a midi with custom/edited samples right? The thing is, actually midis don't store any sample data, the program that plays 'em either routes the midi commands to hardware (like synths) or uses a default soundbank; for example, Windows uses a DLS bank called 'gm.dls' that can be found under the Windows installation dir.

P.S. You couldn't be the only one with that question, please don't delete an explanation on a public forum!

Why? This way people can tell more easily who they're talking to. I'm irritated by people screwing around with my buggy forum, so I know how you feel.
