I prefer my desktop to stay clean, and uncluttered. As such, I have almost no icons on it, and those that are there, I almost never use.
However, I rarely see my desktop, except at startup, because I always have some window open (usually FireFox) that covers the whole thing.
As for me, I'd rather not post a picture since I'm running at 1280x1024, and that would be just a little big... Especially for someone on dial-up (and yes, I do have a specific person in mind with that comment...).
Really, my desktop is nothing special. The best I've got is that there's an image I downloaded awhile ago, and I tweaked the colors to it. I think it looks much better than the original (the original was sort of pale, and "washed out").
And yes, this is a useless thread. As are many of the threads already on this board... :P Mouser X over and out.
If I don't want to see the image I won't bother loading it, put it up if you want (yes, I'm so vain I thought that post was about me).
I don't think anyone wants to see how cluttered my desktop it (to the point where I increase the resolution whenever it gets full), but here's the background I use.
man, i used to have a lot of icons on my desktop, and it was only jsut recently that i had decided to put them all on my start menu but ill join UNKNOWNFILE and put mine up.
