Error when opening USFs by Lunar at 1:30 PM EST on January 31, 2006
This has started happening just today. I opened some USFs this morning and they were fine. Now, none of them open at all. They give me this error:
"Failed to allocate N64MEM" "Allocate_Memory failed"
After that, nothing happens. Hitting "play" will of course make the error happen again. I reinstalled 64th note in hope that it might solve the problem, but alas, no luck.
Any idea what may cause this? It's strange that it'd suddenly stop working. I was messing with installing a TV tuner plugin today, and I'm wondering if that might have had something to do with it.
What version of 64th Note are you using? This problem has come up before, and there's supposed to be a fix for it (as I recall). Use the beta versions of 64th Note (like, 1.1 beta something). That should fix the problem. If that doesn't work, then please tell us what version of 64th Note you're running, what TV tuner (yes, it can make a difference, I think), what version of Winamp, ect.
Anyway, hopefully that helps. Mouser X over and out.
Yeah, I was using ver 1.0 of 64th Note (with Winamp 5.112), and I'm using a plugin simply called "Winamp TV". I just switched to the 1.1 beta and it seems to have solved the problem. I wonder why it started messing up like that all of a sudden though.
