I used brsar_unpack on Super Paper Mario. It works alright (did anyone know that?), although I can't loop though and some sounds seem to be missing.

I also have a help question. How could one be able to extract PMTTYD sounds anytime in the future?

Brawl's brsar seems to be pretty much like SPM and I guessed that's why... (I'm saying that because SPM came out before Brawl)

You got extremely lucky, i couldn't even extract the brsar file from new super mario bros wii with brsar_unpack.



It might have something to do with the games being different somehow idk.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii has a different kind of brsar, though. For those, the RWAV's can be copied and pasted using HxD and then you can use vgmstream to extract them. Some of them are just samples though. Those are used in sequenced sounds, which can be remade in MODPlug. Some of them loop, too. MODPlug supports loop points.
