So I've got a job now, I can afford to spend some more monthly on hosting. What I don't have is much time anymore... I know this has been discussed previously, but if some of you could suggest some hosting providers, with statistics (bandwidth, disk space, services, price), I could actually get that in motion.
Network Solutions offers as part of their pro package:
* Free domain name with annual plan# * Hundreds of Web site templates * 10 GB of disk storage * 100 e-mailboxes * 200 GB of data transfer * Advanced Webmail features * 15 directory pointers
All of this is for "$29.13/month with annual agreement".
# Offer valid at time of purchase with new one, two or three year hosting package. Free domain name is limited to 3 year term and is available for new domain registration, domain renewals and domain transfers of .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz, .info & .name extensions. Only one discounted domain is available per order. If you wish to purchase an additional package and receive a discounted domain, please complete a separate transaction. To continue free domain name service, you must include the renewal of the domain name in the shopping cart along with the renewal of the hosting package.
If I actually got anywhere near that limit I think they'd pull the plug... reading through their documentation and contract it doesn't seem like a very professional setup.
Network Solutions, on the other hand, is heavy-duty.
I got PCWorld against my will today, and there's an ad for 1and1.com in here. For 4.99/month, you get 5 GB space, 500 GB monthly transfer, 1,000 email accounts and 25 MySQL accounts.
