Banjo Tooie not working with latest LazyUSF by shrimp at 9:39 AM EST on November 5, 2014
I get the following with latest build of LazyUSF: Unable to open item for playback (Emulator core is not generating any samples after 20 million instructions):
"D:\Music\Banjo-Tooie [Banjo to Kazooie no Daibouken 2] (2000-11-19)(Rare)(Nintendo)\isle o' hags - terrydactyland.miniusf"

Known issue, I don't know where to look to fix it though. Maybe JoshW is equipped to do that more easily?

I recall some sets not working with the R4300i interpreter core, due to some accuracy changes never making it into that part of the emulator back in Project64 1.4, and I've long since removed all of the recompilers.

I had it working with the earlier version of LazyUSF just not the oct 23 build.

Earlier build from ages ago is way different from what I forked and currently maintain.

EDIT: JoshW is also working with my fork now, last I saw.

If the existing set on joshw.info still won't work, I know this set will:
