The Official Streamed File Research Thread by bxaimc at 9:59 AM EST on November 25, 2014
In order to avoid opening multiple threads for help on just one type of file, let's just move all of that into here. That way it'd be easier to take a look at things without switching back and forth through threads and not being able to help everyone.
You can't build them really without an encoder. Finding them is the tricky part but they're usually located in the file header. It's 32 bytes of pos and neg pairs of bytes for each channel.

Hello there, can you help me to convert .raw files from The Croods Prehistoric Party Wii version ? Here's the file: https://mega.co.nz/#!Rd4U1JxL!aL52g-xtFtQIto_fLPqGlpWvEsD_wAFPAEbJRH42L_s
As noted by the tickler of twinks, not many people are able to figure this stuff out so easily. It's possible to have a generic set of coefs to play this stuff, we just need to take a look at the file history to determine the right coef table.

I`d like to say good day to all the experts gathered here and kindly propose to take a look at this sample straight from the disc. I`ve never been into GC or Wii stuff so that I`m almost lost if such a file isn`t playable to begin with (it seems to have a header but its sounding during playback suggests it`s outright wrong IE doesn`t comply with the stream body itself). One can actually hear some music on the background of some huge static so that I assume it might really be ADPCM but requiring slight tuning (of a header) to be playable correctly.
So can anyone make something usable out of this track? I`d be quite satisfied having just it as it`s the only one I truly want in addition to its counterpart on a different platform (which along with the whole rip can still be gotten off JoshW servers).
Bye! BTW I`m in no rush with this audio file whatsoever so any investigator can definitely take his time.
Is anyone pretty familiar with how AT3+ is supposed to work? There's a possible custom version of it in the tri-Ace PS2 games, and needs some tweaking to work I guess. 6024.pk3 is most likely Highbrow.
