Need help using the text.exe!!!! by Onehit at 3:28 PM EST on February 7, 2015
I have been trying to get it to work but I don't know what I am doing wrong. I downloaded the .dll files needed and placed them in the same directory as the test.exe is located in. When I try to run the program it opens for like half a millisecond before it goes away. I have some SSM files that I would like to use but I can't! What am I doing wrong?

Google how to use cmd, then run test.exe from that. By doing that you will get the instructions how to use it.

Try putting cmd.exe in the same directory, then opening it, and typing "text", or "text /?" Also, what is text.exe? OR do you mean test.exe?

You drag the music files onto test.exe. You don't run it by itself.

I would also like to know if there is a way to change the wav file name instead of "dump".
by TheUltimateKoopa at 5:52 PM EST on February 7, 2015
There is.

After you type test, type -o output.wav or whatever you want to call it. For example, if you wanted to call it "bananas.wav" you'd type "test -o bananas.wav"

For other options, simply type test in command prompt (cmd), without typing anything else.
