Goemon's Great Adventure by hcs at 2:57 PM EDT on May 24, 2005
I spent a while trying to re-rip this with a higher alist timout value in the USF batch ripper, but it kept failing. It turns out that when I used WaitForSingleObject I gave it a 6 minute timeout (or was it ten, I've replaced it with INFINITE now so it doesn't matter) independent of the "no new data read" clock. Track 0xb2 (the credits) is 3:30 long and the ripping was going at about half speed, so of course it didn't make it no matter what I set the Alist count to.

I'm surprised this wasn't an issue for Blast Corps, or several other games which have really freakin' long tracks.

So I'm finishing up the ripping on that track now, I also ripped 0x70 which was missing from the original rip.

*now* it's up, isn't dialup a wonderful thing?
by unknownfile at 4:08 PM EDT on May 24, 2005
Dialup connection sucks ass at least tree times a minute.
by jelbo at 1:31 AM EDT on May 25, 2005
Maxwill, you're doing the tagging right? The tracklist translations of the soundtrack that are currently found on the net are badly done. I found some people who helped me translate it accurately, and thus I have the most accurately translated tracklist for the soundtrack. Get in touch with me if you want to use the translation for the USF set. j.goosens at gmail dot com
by hcs at 5:16 AM EDT on May 25, 2005
Could you please post the properly translated tracklist here?
by Maxwill at 11:27 AM EDT on May 25, 2005
Finished finally! Damn, lot of work with this set, but I got it (with help of jelbo and his crew of course to rename most of the songs).
Check it out.

Awesome guys :). I know I make myself look like a mong just cheering from the sideline but it's really appreciated.
OMG FORGETFULNESS by unknownfile at 5:11 PM EDT on May 25, 2005
I added in the tagger tag, so the usfs have Maxwill's name for the Tagger field in the new 64th note v0.10:
_lib=gga.usflib
..blah blah..
tagger=Maxwill

It's up at the tagfixed set page.
You WILL need the lib for this, though.

This is the full version of the Impact Song, only can be heard on the Original Soundtrack. The game use only the first passage.
roms? by Shane64 at 9:43 AM EDT on August 11, 2005
Haha, great lyrics, I had a nice sing-along just now. It seems that no one has posted here in awhile..I hope someone reads this. Anyway...my questions is can anyone point me in the right direction of Mystical Ninja roms for the N64? prefurble Goemons Great Adventure since it's the only one i've not played. Mystical Ninja Staring Goemon would be great too since i've not played it in awhile. (These games are not for sale down where i live:( ) So mad props to someone who can send me the link to it.
by unknownfile at 11:03 AM EDT on August 11, 2005
No. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.
HOW TO FIND N64 ROMZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ by hcs at 11:52 PM EDT on August 11, 2005
To set a matter of policy I'd like to discourage questions like this.

A simple Google search works wonders. Try "goemon n64 roms". The first and second results are working ROM repositories.
by unknownfile at 3:54 AM EDT on August 12, 2005
Yes, Shane64, then you can be a ROM whore, like hcs and myself. ;p
don't harm me. by Shane64 at 9:25 AM EDT on August 12, 2005
Take it easy, I mean you no harm, I come in freaking peace. lol looks like i'm on my own here. Alright well keep up the good work.

by hcs at 2:12 PM EDT on August 12, 2005
I did everything short of link you to it. I'd call that helpful.
And unknownfile is an ass.
by unknownfile at 2:23 PM EDT on August 12, 2005
I'd not be an ass if it weren't for this goddamn fever.
by Shane64 at 11:42 PM EDT on August 12, 2005
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound ungreatfull, I was only kidding around. hcs your suggestion was most helpfull. But the link to the rom just happen to be down at that time. I'll try again latter when I have more time. And do get felling better UNKOWNFILE, fevers suck ass.
