If it can actually support XMA directly, that'd be *really* nice.... I'm going to give it a try, but I think what's more important is, does it follow the GPL guidelines, that VGMStream is released under? I'm sure HCS doesn't mind that they're using VGMstream's code, so long as it's being shared/used "properly". Of course, VGMstream isn't *just* HCS's work anymore, either, so it's possible there's other people who would be concerned as well that the source code is being used according to the GPL license (I don't remember the stipulations, or what GPL it's released under).
Anyway, interesting find. I, for one, like seeing VGMstream used in other places. However, proper acknowledgement is also important. I'd be disappointed to see VGMstream removed, because the author is unwilling to follow the GPL stuff. Basically, I'd hate to see a big stink made about it, but it definitely shouldn't be ignored either. Hopefully the Konvertor author sees it the same way, I guess. Mouser X over and out.
vgmstream is ISC licensed, which only requires that they include a copy of the license (the COPYING file). Haven't installed it so I don't know if they are keeping up with that.
