extracting files from .rar by stevens at 12:19 PM EST on January 3, 2007
hi!

i'm really new to this underground internet world of video game stuff (omg! :D) and when i discovered that i could play n64 songs through my computer my head nearly fell off with excitement.

however, although ive got some of the soundtracks to work (super mario 64!!) using winamp and 64th note these have been contained in zip files and i dont know how to extract songs from .rar. windows doesnt recognize .rar and winamp doesnt see .rar as a folder it sees is as an unplayable file. I'm sure this is a really easy problem with a simple explanation but i dont know how to fix it :S

the site is marvellous though and the music within it fantastic. the n64 and snes are still the best consoles! ever!

you'd want to install the plugin from http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?postid=2052932#post2052932 and that will allow you to play back the usf rar archives in winamp without having to extract them out yourself :)

any issues then let me know and i'll see what i can do to help
