Gamerip Hit List (PayPal Rewards) by Nyarlathotep at 5:41 AM EST on January 11, 2019
Hello everyone, the following is a list of some games that I'd very much like to see ripped and uploaded to the archives here. As stated in the title there will be payment rewards made via PayPal for the successful ripping and uploading of any of the below titles.

I was thinking something like $15 per game if that sounds fair. Also, let me know if any of the below titles are currently unrippable for whatever reason.

Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance[Beat Down](2005-11-2)(Cavia)[PS2]

Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance[Beat Down] (2005-11-3)(Cavia)[Xbox]

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth(2005-10-24)(Headfirst Productions)(Bethesda Softworks)[Xbox] (I'd like to have the cutscene audio included in this one.)

Chaos Legion(2003-3-6)(Capcom)[PS2]

Daemon Bride: Additional Gain(2011-11-24) (Examu)[Arcade] (NESiCAxLive)

Dokapon Kingdom(2007-11-22)(Sting)(Examu)[PS2] (I'd also like the opening cutscene audio included with this one, it'll probably need to be demultiplexed though.)

Dokapon Kingdom(2007-7-31)(Sting)(Examu)[Wii]

Mister Mosquito[Mosquito](2001-6-21)(Zoom)(Sony Computer Entertainment)[PS2]

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game(2010-8-10)(Ubisoft)[PSN]

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game(2010-25-10)(Ubisoft)[XBLA]

Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day[Short Peace: Tsukigime Ranko no Ichiban Nagai Hi](Crispy's Inc., Grasshopper Manufacture)(Bandai Namco Games)[PS3]

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic(2003-7-15)(BioWare)(LucasArts)[Xbox]

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords(2004-12-6)(Obsidian Entertainment) (LucasArts)[Xbox]

The Operative: No One Lives Forever(2002-4-8)(Sierra Entertainment)(Monolith Productions)[PS2]

The Transformers(2003-10-30)(Winkysoft)(Takara)[PS2]

Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum(2004-7-29)(Konami)[PS2]

Edit
Contract J.A.C.K. & Under the Skin have been ripped by Vector Harbor.
AceK apparently already ripped Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code some time ago so I took it down from the list as well.

I'm putting Battle Moon Wars The Best(2009-4-26)(Werk)[PC] & Rose Guns Days - The Best(2016-08-31)(07th Expansion)[PC] to the side for now until I can provide the files from the discs myself.

@Vector Harbor

I had it already ripped. See joshw upload waiting list.
by Vector Harbor at 9:15 PM EST on January 11, 2019
Ok, i think i take too much time for this one.

But about battle moon wars the best. Is it a compilation and where can we found it ? There's not much result for this game.

Edit : I'm not sure if this what you are looking for but i tried.

No bounty, but I'd love to see a Scott Pilgrim rip, too. Anamanaguchi!
by bxaimc at 11:11 PM EST on January 11, 2019
Iirc Scott Pilgrim had some cursed AT3 on PS3 when I looked at years ago. Should be doable now.
by Nicknine at 11:27 PM EST on January 11, 2019
bnnm and I have solved Scott Pilgrim a few months back, both PS3 and X360 should work now.
by Vector Harbor at 11:37 PM EST on January 11, 2019
Ok so i went through ripping Contract jack and there's not much music in it. It actually had a lot of MP3 low quality in disguise as wav file. There are unplayable in audacity but there are in foobar.

It contains a lot of Se, voice clip and ambient music.

All of the PS2 Gitaroo Man sets can be found here.

@Vector Harbor
Yes, I was serious, so long as whoever does the rip is okay with providing an email I'll send them some money via PayPal for their work.

Also in regards to Battle Moon Wars it does seem mostly complete, but I'm fairly certain that there's at least a couple files missing. I noticed at least two, but there may be more, I'd have to check the game's "sound dictionary" to be exact. Also "data6_0x047936B1_010F6F0F.ogg" doesn't appear to work.

You do bring up good point though, being a doujin game means that it'll probably be hard to find stuff for it online. Maybe I should just import the game and post the disc files here for the sake of convenience.

@AceK
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but where is the upload waiting list located, is it separate from the music archive thread?

Well if you could provide the disc files, i'm ok with that. Especially for Rose Guns Days - The Best.

So far i've been ripping 2 games.

- Battle Moon Wars
- Contract J.A.C.K.

About battle moon wars. I extract the ogg vorbis from the dat file and it was all i could get.

data6_0x047936B1_010F6F0F.ogg is probably a dummy file. The size is too small.

Providing an email you say ? Ok i'll trust you here's mine : mathias.chayot@orange.fr

Anyway i'll be working on Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day.

@Vector Harbor
It seems like the Contract J.A.C.K. audio is broken up into pieces that are then reassembled properly in-game, that's rather inconvenient.

Also, can anyone unpack the IMC files for Gitaroo Man? I was going to see if I could do it myself with QuickBMS, but I don't see any scripts for IMC.

@Vector Harbor
I sent you over some Payment for the Contract J.A.C.K. & Battle Moon Wars rips, however I should mention that I gave a little bit less for Battle Moon Wars since as mentioned before, it appears to be incomplete.

However, I will check and see if I can import "The Best" versions of Battle Moon Wars & Rose Gun Days since then I can just post the disc's contents, which should make things easier.
by Vector Harbor at 12:33 AM EST on January 12, 2019
For Contract J.A.C.K the game is using a txt file to modify the music in game.

I upload all the txt file here : https://www.mediafire.com/file/zxml1dxjpelra1a/txt_Contract_Jack.zip/file

I extract the music with dragon unpacker 5 and extract all the folders

Edit : Thank you, i'll work hard for the rest !!

@Nyarlathotep There isn't a need to unpack the IMC files. You play them with vgmstream. If you want to mute certain channels, you'll need to create a txtp.
by Vector Harbor at 2:00 AM EST on January 12, 2019
Good News : I managed to rip Under the Skin.
Bad News : It's Unplayable...well it's distorted and it's in one PCM file. I did not convert the file. It was like that when i extract the file.

Under the Skin txth specifications:

codec = PSX
sample_rate = 44100
channels = 2
interleave = 0x1000
start_offset = 0x0
num_samples = data_size
by Vector Harbor at 4:05 AM EST on January 12, 2019
Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum(2004-7-29)(Konami)[PS2]

Unfortunaly it's broken. I just renamed the bin file into pcm to make them playable but it's not enough.

There's 67 file inside.

Edit : Nevermind found it. It has all the sound as you ask. yes cutscene include. Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth(2005-10-24)(Headfirst Productions)(Bethesda Softworks)[Xbox]

I even got the music from Mister Mosquito sadly it's distorted. Mister Mosquito[Mosquito](2001-6-21)(Zoom)(Sony Computer Entertainment)[PS2]

We are making huge progress !!!

@Vector Harbor: Why did you even upload "Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum"? You didn't even rip it correctly.

"I even got the music from Mister Mosquito sadly it's distorted." It wouldn't be if you knew what you're doing. Here is a txth to fix that set:

codec = PSX

channels = 2
sample_rate = 44100
interleave = 0x400
sample_type = bytes

num_samples = data_size
by Vector Harbor at 7:03 AM EST on January 12, 2019
codec = PSX

channels = 2
sample_rate = 44100
interleave = 0x400
sample_type = bytes

num_samples = data_size

So how do you setup that ??

Anyway here

Mister Mosquito rip has been up for quite some time.

Also, I don't think you need to be giving out money my man, the large majority of people are more than happy to do this for free.
The 5 or so rips that were listed and done out of the kindness of other members are, for the most part, 99.99% complete. The only things missing might be a random small song or tags.
I found the idea of this thread rather humorous at first and decided to contribute 2-3 rips (of which 1 already existed). Now that you've confirmed you're serious, I'd much rather have my name scrubbed from the thread. This has nothing to do with the OP's actions, it's more so to do with the fact that people have accepted payment. I'd think of it as a rather morally abhorrent action if I were to take the money,I don't think I'd want to show my face here ever again.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic(2003-7-15)(BioWare)(LucasArts)[Xbox]

Dokapon Kingdom(2007-11-22)(Sting)(Examu)[PS2]

Urfortunaly, the file format for this one is unknown for me. So i upload the data pac and the two sound file.

I don't know if the music of this game has only 12 music but i include the sfx as well if you want. It's MP3 by default and loop from the start. Let le know if you need the movie file or something else.

@NoWool
Strange I guess I must have missed it, maybe I was looking for "Mr." instead of "Mister."

Also, my sincere apologies, it was never my intent to offend anyone. I suppose I was under the incorrect impression that the quickest way to get a few of the things that I was interested in uploaded to the archive was to add on some form of monetary encouragement. In retrospect this was probably a rather misguided assumption.

@Vector Harbor
There are a few left, but due to the recent negative reception I think that it may be best if I simply just brought this to a close. Nonetheless, I've still sent you payment for the ones that you did while I was away.
by Eliskuya at 1:31 PM EST on January 13, 2019
I would like download Scott pilgrim OST one day
by NoWool at 5:35 PM EST on January 13, 2019
@Nyarlathotep
There is no need for you to apologize, I guess my previous post isn't very clear.
Sorry if anyone becomes upset over this, but I'm just going to say it like it is; basically, what's bothering me is the fact that broken, incomplete sets are being uploaded.
If someone wants to rip music from a game to receive some form of monetary compensation then that is between said parties involved, but I think you were getting shafted.

Thanks for clarifying, I was a bit worried that I may have broken some unspoken rule or something along those lines.

On the topic of hit-lists, I always was under the impression that bounties conflicted with what this site is all about, but if that has changed then I wouldn't be opposed to putting up bounties for some of the harder or more obscure USF requests and re-rips.

It seems like only a handful of people are capable and the process is complex, draining and takes a lot of motivation to get going. If you're helping with my request, then you're putting in the effort for me and so I don't mind contributing (financially or otherwise), both as motivation and as appreciation for the work put in to help me out.
