The Museum of Anything Goes music files by MoldyPond at 10:28 PM EDT on August 26, 2026
I recently found out about an old obscure PC game called The Museum of Anything Goes. Looking through the files for the game it only has 3 songs, however they do not have any file extension and the few things I've tried don't load anything at all for them.

I've uploaded the files here if anyone wants to take a look at them, and any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Those are Adobe Director files (usually ".dir" or ."dxr" extension) and should be extractable using tools on the internet. I wrote an extractor for this like 6 years ago or something but extraction was not perfect because it just took every "snd " chunk in the file – no matter if valid or not – and attempted to create a WAV file from it. But in the meantime, there should be better extractors out there. Just google "Adobe Director extractor" or something...

Yep that did the trick and am able to extract all the WAV files from what’s available, thanks a bunch!
