Some songs suffer (more intense) from some type of clipping or noise, specially with MUSIC_13.wav where I have the UT2003 and 2004 version called Level6.ogg, sounding at 44 khz , with slightly higher pitch and clean.
Additionally, the plugin detects the file as WAVM, yet if I rename it to wavm all I hear is garbage.
I have renamed it to xwav as it is a plugin format and somewhat related to the xbox (I can't use wav alone because xmplay tries to decode it itself and fails).

I just want to make sure whether what I hear is due to the adpcm compression or due to the decoder.

By the way, I'm using your rip from the game.

Nevermind about the quality. I made some tests on my own and apparently those artifacts are very normal when compressing to ADPCM using just 3 bits per sample. (sigh)

I still don't get the wavm issue though.
