- I have problems playing/converting the Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 set.
The HIMDRenderer doesn't work, and the AT3 codec + winamp directshow combo doesn't either. Any help? Thanks

- There are some quickbms scripts on this page to convert the AT3s to AA3. You can get loop points too if you want.
You'll need Sony Soundforge to open the AA3 files, and then you can batch convert them from there.

- Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but hcs, based on your files/mainlist_sort.txt that came up as I was searching Google, do you perhaps still have a copy of Konami Best Selection - '98 Autumn (KICA-7913).rar ?
I'd appreciate it if you could upload it somewhere, although the only track I really want to check out is 42, the one related to Speed King. It'd be nice to hear the Battle Tryst tracks too, though, since I never had any luck in attempts to convert the CHD that is commonly found online into something that 3DO tools can do anything with.

- That set uses ATRAC3, and if I recall correctly, ATRAC3 is not implemented into VGMstream. Thus, to play the files, you need to play them as ATRAC3 files, and not as MSF files (their extension is MSF, but it contains ATRAC3 data). Honestly, I'm not 100% certain how to do that. I'm fairly certain it's as "simple" as removing the MSF header, and changing the extension to whatever ATRAC3 files are.
I'd try to be more helpful, but unfortunately I'm very pressed for time. Hopefully someone else will be able to tell you how to "extract"/"convert" the MSF container files into proper ATRAC3 files. Mouser X over and out.

- What does the latest one have? I'm just checking I have all of them. I do have a rip, which contains all the usual BRSTMs, as well as invinicibility, title, ending themes, all the different local (i.e. not Wifi) menu themes, etc.

- What does the latest one have? I'm just checking I have all of them. I do have a rip, which contains all the usual BRSTMs, as well as invinicibility, title, ending themes, all the different local (i.e. not Wifi) menu themes, etc.

That's the latest one, so far, I believe. I only have the .BRSTMs, and two .DSP files, currently, for my set. Missing the .RWAVs (invinciblity, title themes, etc.), and whatever else yours has, mine doesn't.
I just searched the forum more thoroughly, and noticed you, bxaimc and Elven Spellmaker mentioned the Mario Kart Wii set that used to be on the tracker, on page 64-65 for this thread. That's the set I'm looking for.

- Anyone got an idea what a .CSMP file is? I dug these out of a Metroid Prime Trilogy .PAK file. Seems to be the title theme. There's two files, and I think they're the L and R tracks. I stuck another set in the zip, but not sure what they are.

- The extension is definitely .CSMP. I used mpakdump to extract the .PAK files. But it's possible they weren't extracted properly... I can upload the whole zip contents if you need them.

- About Mind Jack, I am 99% sure something is wrong with the rip. The music is at a lower pitch and slower speed compared to the official soundtrack. It sounds like it's not playing at the proper sampling rate, so I tried making it play back in Sound Forge at 48 kHz, without resampling so it speeds it up, and it sounds like the right pitch and speed now. The files are missing loop info though, so they just stop dead.
The one AA3 file is the "Beyond the Mirage", the credits music, but it's only a piece of it. It's missing about 35 seconds from the beginning (which is in the ending movie before the credits roll) and 1:46 after this file's abrupt end. Its filename, E00_B02.aa3, suggests there may be more AA3s somewhere though.

- TUK: Yes, the LOGGs are just conversions of the midis, which sucks and some of the loops are just bad.
Hotcakes: The midis are the original from the 98 release, just repacked. Seems like they aren't used in-game though.

- I would presume it'll be a while before there's any Wii U rips. Not sure there's been any 3DS yet, and that's been out for a while. It all depends how difficult it is for hackers to figure out.
