- I could be wrong but wasn't there an Arcade category before?
Also, how do I upload a music archive here? The name would have to be modified with the correct date and such that the game was released, though.
It's Dragonball Z Ultimate Battle 22.

I ripped as much music and no sfx as possible but the game has many paks with music so did my best to not include fx. Some songs have up to 5 variations lol

- Here's more:
Gamecube
Charinko Hero (bnnm posted the TXTH for this in the vgmstream thread a while back, so I think that more than warrants a re-post! :))
PC
Alice's Mom's Rescue
Asura
Battle Chasers: Nightwar (A rare example of a Wwise soundtrack I managed to sort out myself! At least, I hope I got all the tracks....)
Chinese Paladin 4 (AKA The Legend of Sword and Fairy 4. However, despite uploading this, I'm unable to play these .smp files.... I think it's still streamed audio, though)
Chinese Paladin 5 (This, on the other hand, came in MP3/WAV files to begin with, so you're good to go here! ;))
CounterAttack
Dual Core
Grave Chase
PS1
Cowboy Bebop (Has duplicate tracks, but I left them in since some dupes have voice clips mixed in there. Still an awesome soundtrack, though!)
Night Raid
That's it for now. Enjoy!

You want this instead of the PS3 version, unless you like horrid sound quality.
The way the files are organized was chaotic so I did some cleanup and added an info file to get an idea where they play.
***
- Notes about ripping Unreal Engine/SoundNodeWaves:
UE3 games put their data in .xxx files, which are compressed engine file/descriptors with "nodes" inside. One is .SoundNodeWave, not really a sound format but another engine file with sound data inside (could be a .wav, .ogg, .msf, semi-raw XMA, or anything the dev wants), subtitles, or other data.
In other words you want the sound data inside, .SoundNodeWave aren't useful and no point to add support to vgmstream.
To extract you can use UModel, which will try to guess and extract the sound data. In case of semi-raw XMA it just adds RIFF and switches the "fmt" endianness (bnnm-approved).
Sometimes will fail to guess and will extract raw .SoundNodeWave. As the node format isn't fixed, some manual spelunking is needed to find the raw data.
You can also use: extract.exe -out=folder -filter=SoundNodeWave file.xxx to get untouched .SoundNodeWave and internal dir names.
UModel doesn't seem to support .SoundNodeWaves with multiple raw files inside and only extracts the first (uncommon though).

- Hi bnnm. Yes Umodel is pretty good for unreal engine but I could never manage to rip the music from Unreal Tournament 3 on X360 as I could never work out its format inside those xxx files. No program worked. Maybe I should give this extract program a try. I also remember reading somewhere the xxx files can be compressed also which can be annoying?

- @Marcusss: thanks for providing us all God mode rip, I'm gonna grab it ASAP because I'm very curious what kind of score such a game has. And of course huge thnx for directing me towards those Zenith and especially Super dungeon bros sets, I've just grabbed both and very eager to try them out!
BTW I see that your break from ripping activities wasn't so long, he-he... Maybe if I post some VG titles from time to time you'll probably get interested and look into them? For example Judge Dredd: Dredd vs Death (I've only listened to this + transcoded PS2 (?) rip eons ago) & Mace Griffin: Bounty hunter (I'll be glad to get rip from just any console version if you don't mind, I didn't only rip this title a decade ago as it's easy-peasy on PC but even completed 3 or even 4 missions!) soundtracks might prove interesting to both of us.
Also there's this "The darkest of days" old FPS thing plus "Tunnel rats" movie tie-in, they both had mostly budget orchestral themes which I didn't quite like back in the day but who knows? Possibly I'll like both way more now... In any case it'd be so curious to refresh memories about both scores if such an opportunity ever appears. You may consider this a formal request but I'll definitely not insist on you taking it. It's up to you to decide.
So long and thanks for all this VGM!
PS. What can you say about D:OS2 BGM? I'm afraid I'm not ready to DL such a whopper just yet but rest assured I'm absolutely going to try it out sooner or later.
- by marcusss at 11:03 AM EDT on October 10, 2017
- Hi Ultrafighter ! Been away for a bit hey?
Zenith has some varieties of music and same with Super Dungeon Bros. I heard SDB was a crap game but music is good and besides the standard BGM, has variations such as Metal or 80s style for the BGM.
D: OS2 has some very nice songs and some ordinary ones as well but I haven't listened to them all yet to judge as there are 495 WEM files and the total play time is just under 9 Hours. ahah I really liked the other Divinity music so I wanted to rip this. There should also be a DLC out now for it so possibly more music for someone to rip if they have it.
If I get time I can take a look at the games you mentioned. I have been trying to get rare or older game rips that time has forgotten about. haha. I recommend The Guild 3 Beta as has lots of your typical RPG style music and I really liked Eisenwald Blood of November for its Medieval styled themes. Actually Majesty 2 is good too.
I ripped some Shooter VGM too such as The Hurricane of the Varstray - Collateral Hazard which has plenty of pumping music reminding me of some new Raiden games and also Trouble Witches Original which has the Cotton style music or Parodius. The PC rip has better quality than my XBOX rip of Trouble Witches Neo ( Both have mostly same music)
I finally managed to rip Magicka 2 also which has lots of remixed Magicka 1 songs. It had that annoying Bitsquid/Stingray engine which had its audio is .stream files which needed tipani files etc.. It was such a pain to rip and time consuming but I wanted to rip it !! haha
I'm late to the game but been playing lots of Crypt of the Necromancer lately. Almost finished it. aha It has been taking a bit of my time lately. Really enoying the music a lot more now after playing it as I can understand the choices of music and style now. The SOundtrack in FLAC I have sure sounds much better than the VGM rip but still was good to rip for archiving here of course.
Lately been trying to rip some Trackmania games as like the techno/dance/fast style music (Well its a racing game afterall ) so will hopefully have something to submit soon.
Later

Sorry, didn't replied to you but Tekken Tag PS2 on PAL release got the option for Arcade soundtrack switch, i'm sure (like Tekken 3). Would be cool to have a rip of it!

- Real talk folks - I don't think I'll be able to maintain the archive starting next year (my family is getting bigger *knockwood*)
Any volunteers to pick up the slack?
- by Ultrafighter at 2:51 PM EDT on October 11, 2017
- Hi Mark! I haven't been away, I simply hadn't posted anything for a while and that's all. Rest assured I've had those suggestions in mind for quite some time, I just haven't ever mentioned any of them until now.
I guess I can also suggest ripping any of these: Space siege & Harbinger. I ripped the former and found some rip of the latter but didn't quite like both scores, I don't even remember much about their BG music styles and such so I'm sorry for that. I hope you can still become interested in those...
In any case I'd really like to listen to both OSTs (gamerips that is) once again! Maybe my opinion's gonna change after so many years? Only time can tell but it happened to me on multiple occasions when years passed and I began to approve some soundtracks which I originally disliked. I believe the same happened to you at least a few times.
If you want some challenge I can list numerous titles which I wasn't able to rip completely back in the day. They're mostly X360 ports of multi-platform games and in most cases I could only process movies (and some SFX/VO at best). There're all kinds of soundtracks: 100% original or original plus licensed VGM, just APM tracks or nothing but original stuff. Would you like to hear about them?
Thanks for all past and future ripped sets and of course your latest status report and some VG info. All the best!

- Congratulations Knurek! I always try to make sure my family is my top priority.
While I wouldn't be able to do any maintenance, I am curious about what's involved. My guess is that it's mostly time, and available bandwidth. Time spent researching proper names, release dates, and systems from which the rip originates, and bandwidth to confirm that the archive(s) uploaded properly. Like I said, I'm curious to know if I missed anything.
Also, it goes without saying, THANK YOU for all you've done over the years. I really appreciate that, across multiple Terabytes of data, there is a cohesive whole (mostly. Very rarely I've noticed some odd-ball [usually misspellings, with a proper spelling, but identical archive, uploaded later. Though, apparently the server is Linux based, because I've found a few that differ only in capitalization] archives slip past). That's not easy to do. You are definitely to be commended! Of course, so should JoshW for hosting, and footing the bill. You have both contributed immeasurably (each in their own way).
I realize you're not leaving (at least, I doubt it). But with that kind of change coming, you won't be around nearly as often (as it should be, IMO), so I wanted to be sure to get my "thank you" in early, and make sure it was well known. Mouser X over and out.
- by Knurek at 12:18 AM EDT on October 13, 2017
- You need a SFTP client (I'm using Filezilla) to upload stuff.
Also any file manager to rename and repack the sets (I'm using Total Commander, since it also lets you search for binary duplicates, but anything would do).
Also, Crypt of the Necrodancer is corrupted, please reupload.

ShineG in the Bullethell
PS1
3D Shooting Tsukuru

Kyoro-chan no Purikura Daisakusen
Otenki Kororin
Real Robots Final Attack
Shin Senki Vangale: The War of Neo-Century
Techno BB
PS3
Strider (The 2014 game, that is. This is another game that uses Wwise audio and I once again didn't have time to sort everything out, my apologies. Still, interestingly, several tracks are a good deal longer than their file sizes indicate....)
That's it for now. Might have a few more tomorrow!

@ChillyBilly - for Wwise you can use this python script. It moves .wems to "1ch"/"2ch" dirs, helps a bit to classify as most 1ch will be voices.
@Knurek - thanks for your work so far and congrats.
For joshw, how about we try to make it more automated? If I understand correctly it involves:
- login to joshw temp folder
- check for integrity/corrupt uploads
- find and remove dupes, maybe classify stuff
- change from .rar/.zip to .7z
- rename to a common style
- move to appropriate dir
I think each step could be replaced by some linux script, maybe with some control from vgm.joshw.info.
Files with not enough info could go to some "unsorted" dir or so until they are fixed I guess.
I'd encourage people pointing out mistakes and reuploading fixes, rather than having to manually curate too much.

I'd have done them myself, but I don't get enough time to squeeze in Android rips along with the other PC/console stuff I already handle (which I already had limited time for to begin with, lol). That being said, I'd be highly grateful to see those rhythm games ripped! :)

Oh yeah the Crypt of Necromancer is latest version so it is the same as
Crypt of the NecroDancer: AMPLIFIED
Some songs have multiple layers like shopkeeper music and 1 or 2 others like this boss theme... so the song has vocals but the music rip does not..
Sooo I was bored and mixed the Fortissimole Boss files so now has his rapping vocals. Cool song yo !
Zone 5 Fortissimole Boss with Vocals
Maybe some day I will do the same forthe shopkeeper themes (like the ost)

* Kidarian Adventures (HARD SLIME)
* Ravensword (Crescent Moon Games)
* Lost in Harmony (Digixart Entertainment)
* Mandora (Rayark Inc.)
* Cytus (Rayark Inc.) ~ 800MB A bit bigger than Deemo ;-) Different style to Deemo.. Faster and noisier but very good tunes ! A pain to rip compared to easier Unity games but worth it

I don't see the option for BGM arrangement/arcade change in the PAL version of Tekken Tag Tournament (PS2):
https://youtu.be/OUKVlVqDxPw?t=33
DATA_00000004.mib from Tekken 4 Namco System 246 is the Staff Roll theme, which is altered in the console release by changing it into Paul's Ending theme (FMV in-game).
I might do Tekken 5 Arcade, but I don't see too many differences that's worth aiming for it yet. I'll probably still do it anyway when time sorts out.
EDIT: Actually I see that it was once already uploaded in the tracker a long while ago... but it's not available atm. I can probably rerip it if no one else have it in stock. Would also like to get the PS3 version of Tekken 5 DR as well for the lobby tune.

@bnnm: I was thinking contributions could be handled by voting/signing off, i.e. having a specific number of trusted people verify a set (based on your list) before the system moves it into the publicly accessible area. I'd be willing to integrate that into the vgm.hcs64.com frontend.

- Hi there,
Firstly, thanks for all the amazing work everybody on this thread is doing to make this insane amount of VGM accessible.
I've got a question regarding the archives on https://vgm.hcs64.com/, specifically the WonderSwan scores: how do I properly play these in FooBar? Even with the WSR Input installed, adding the wsr file, the m3u playlist and the individual tracks (as m3u files) only results in 200+ tracks in the playlist, all 5:05 minutes long. Adding different combinations of the above files results in the same issue (or no files added at all).
Does anybody know how one can play these files on FooBar (or another media player)?
Thanks so much!

Grandia II Anniversary Edition
^Should be all the music, I think.... though I apologize if there's any SFX tracks mixed up in there, heh.
@AceK: Didn't find any such file for KOF14, sorry. Would've included it if I did!

- Time for more uploads!
PC
Anonymous ME
Celestian Tales: Old North (included the DLC tracks in a separate folder)
FIGHTING SPACE
Heat Signature
PS1
Choro Q Jet: Rainbow Wings (My first non-streamed PSF set! It's not without some issues, though....)
Cyber Egg: Battle Champion
KuruKuru MaruMaru
Najavu no Daibouken: My Favorite Namjatown (If the files don't play, just remove the "C" from the file extension to play them as regular DA files)
So, about the Choro Q rip.... it's my first PSF attempt, so it's far from perfect. For one thing, the files aren't timed. Also, not all the SEQ/VB/VH files had matches, unfortunately. On the plus side, I included all the necessary files in case anyone wants to revise my sloppy work, heh. Still, I think it's not too bad for a first attempt. I'll see if I can get some more PSF sets done soon....

FYI With my iOS Demon's Rise rip they use some licensed songs that are/were used in Dungeon Hero (The PC game I tried ripping, that was encrypted) so some music love ;-) The ones by Michael La Manna and others like Into the Darkness song etc..

Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut
PS1
Cyber Org
DamDam StompLand
Mini-Yonku Bakusou Kyoudai: Let's & Go!! - WGP Hyper Heat (I'm not sure if it's because it's a faulty rip, but the XA streams don't play properly for me, nor was I able to split them with VGMT. I included the untouched files so someone else can check, just in case)
Soukou Kihei Votoms Gaiden: Blue Knight Bersaga Story (For some reason, the first three DA tracks play loud static for me while the rest sound just fine.... dunno what's up with that)
Two-Tenkaku
Wii
Beyblade Metal Fusion: Counter Leone
As with my previous post, this round's PSFs are imperfect (not timed, couldn't find the right matches for some files). I'll improve eventually, though! However, like before, I included the necessary data for those who wish to fix my errors. Otherwise, that's it from me for now!

- Hey Mark, it's so nice to see you as active in VGM ripping as ever! Thanks for most of your recent releases and especially Divinity: Original sin 2 (I've already listened through half of it I think and there're actually lots of neat ambient tracks in the set)!
May I still suggest a few more titles which would benefit from (re)ripping? There're very few VGs ATM, just be sure of it!
For example Brink scored by composers of Primal & MediEvil: Resurrection doesn't have a streamed rip for any platform, in fact only OrangeC's version with 93 tracks exists (or trimmed down 35 tracks custom album). My guess is that the game's easily rippable and someone can make a set for this VG, be it console port or PC version.
I checked out that OJ's ver. a week ago and would call Brink score a little brother of Singularity soundtrack since they have much in common (the former has slightly less electronics than orchestra, rarely throws guitar riffs in the mix and is way shorter than the latter but both are quite similar). Oh and duo who scored Brink is Bob & Barn.
Also I was quite surprised to not find Shank sets at all because this 2D beat 'em up dilogy is well-known and at least Shank 1, PC variant is simple 5.1 FSB MP3 (I ripped it eons ago but my ver. was apparently incomplete as hell, I probably processed Music.fsb and forgot about remainder, I didn't even search for CS/FMV audio / any additional score pieces). I believe that our VGM collection really feels like incomplete without any Shank sets.
There're OSTs for both installments you see so that you can get an idea of what to expect before really attempting to rip these games. Both are quite short but still nice (I presume they kinda represent my view on an (almost) ideal score for a Wild West themed VG).
If you wanna some challenge try ripping Stuntman: Ignition for X360 (be it simply extracting streams or making them ultimately play or decode). Funny thing is I managed to add XMA headers to all SFX banks and decode resulting files to WAV but processing BGM.ARC (or whatever it's named) proved to be much more difficult.
Anyway at least PS3 or PS2 (OrangeC posted it in his Goldmine of rips IIRC) are significantly easier, I ripped the former many years ago with just Cube media player 2 and almost all the tracks sounded fine (but for a few I couldn't find an interleave value). Maybe tools like Fastelbja's ADPCM player or CMP aren't appropriate for such tasks, what if the game's easier rippable than I originally thought and there're actually FSB/SS2 containers inside the bigfile? I wasn't experienced at all back in the day so I can only wonder nowadays.
Oh and about soundtrack itself! It's some really varied collection of both instrumental and vocal songs with quite a portion of original music by Bob Daspit & Cris Velasco. This last detail means that select compositions remind us of other great original scores by those two.
And the last one for today is "The house of the dead: Overkill - Extended (Director's) cut" for PS3. Just as Wii ver. available from JoshW.Info this port features tons of funky, psychedelic and electronic music plus hours of utterly hilarious cutscenes!
I sort of ripped it long time ago with just ADPCM player v1.44h but more worthy rip should be added to archives at some point. I mean lots of streams extracted as MIB ones and sounded fine (interleave was right when played back in VGMstream) but I still had to add SS2 headers with Alpha's BMS so that frequency was right! There were also supposedly headerless *.PS2 files where I had to guess all the main audio specs for files...
And maybe this VG was way easier to rip, I mean like there're "SShd", "FSB4" or other known headers in bigfiles! Anyway... I'd welcome any kind of rerip since I'm pretty eager to revisit this neat OST so please keep me posted if you ever decide to attempt ripping the title.
Bye all and keep this VGM flood going as Mark once said! I'd like to thank Masamune for some rips too (like NASCAR Rumble or Rumble racing)!
PS. @Mark - Are you gonna post Implosion rip? I'm still interested in checking it out even if some BGMs are spliced with SFX/VOs. Your notion about its similarity to GI Joe: The rise of cobra score got hooked me up and I'm so curious!
PPS. Also the very 1st Stuntman for PS2 remains terra incognita for most folks since interleave's a pest in that VG and apparently no one has ever figured it out and made any kind of software rip. Give it a try if you feel like it!

- Hi ChillyBilly.
I have had the same with some unity games. One game I could only find levels 1, 2 and 3 music and 1 level 1 boss song , even after joining all the split assets files and.manually going through each file to double check, especially reS / resource files but no luck. Probably they use the music for more than 1 level or something..
@ Ultrafighter I'm glad you enjoyed listening to Diviity OS II !. It does have lots of nice pieces. I have yet to listen to the WHOLE score yet as it is quite big but will listen to every piece soon enough. BTW I had hoped to get the names of each track but have taken a very long time so left them as they were when I ripped them
Also uploaded the PC game * Troll and I *

Hi. Have you tried UnityPack? You'll need Python 3, and it can be installed through pip with the following commands:
pip(3*) install (--user**) unitypack python-lz4 fsb5 (wheel decrunch setuptools cython***)
From there, you can use the unityextract script from the bin folder at https://github.com/HearthSim/UnityPack.
For me, decrunch doesn't install properly, so I downloaded it from https://github.com/HearthSim/decrunch and ran:
python(3*) setup.py build
python(3*) setup.py install
Note that it automatically converts fsb files to ogg. If you want it to extract the raw fsb files, go to your Python library directory where UnityPack is installed (Mine is /usr/local/lib/python3.4/dist-packages/ on Ubuntu. You can also look in site-packages for it.)
Once you're there, take the two unitypack folders (one of them should be something like unitypack-x.x.x.dist-info) and within the same directory, copy them to folders that are named the same but with "unitypack" replaced with "unitypackfsb" or another name of your choosing.
Then, go into your newly-created unitypack folder and open "utils.py" in a text editor and change the following lines:
filename = "%s-%i.%s" % (d.name, i, af.get_sample_extension())
filename = "%s.%s" % (d.name, af.get_sample_extension())
sample = af.rebuild_sample(sample)
with these:
filename = "%s-%i.%s" % (d.name, i, 'fsb')
filename = "%s.%s" % (d.name, 'fsb')
sample = d.data
making sure to keep the indentation the same.
Then, make a copy of the unityextract script, rename it to something appropriate like "unityextractfsb", and open it in a text editor. Replace all instances of "unitypack" with "unitypackfsb" or the name you gave to the new package.
This is how I extracted the raw files from The Silver Case and Crap! No One Loves Me for uploading on here.
*Use this if you're running a Python 3 setup separate from your Python 2 environment.
**If it doesn't work without this option, try using this option.
***Include these if it doesn't install automatically or if you don't already have these.

- Thanks Basillica for your reply. I do have Python 3 but tbh I rarely use it. In the past I had python installed to rip some games using VGMtoolbox but not much else.
Very interested in trying it out sometime. I usually use Unity Studio for the standard unity stuff and split assets and stuff which is dificult I use UnityEx.

* MUSYNX + DLC (Another Rhythm game) This one uses HCA too.
* X-Men Days of Future Past - Game's music is IMA4 i.e ..Apple IMA format inside Apple's CAF Audio and doesn't work with vgmstream. It does however work with VLC.

- Okay, let's do this:
PC
AngerForce: Reloaded
Eschatos (Curiously, the files are a fair deal bigger in size than the original 360 version's)
FoxyLand
Ghostory
High Hell
Panty party
Spelunker Party
Taima Miko Yuugi
PS1
Battle Athletess: Daiundoukai GTO
Crisis City
Extra Bright
Ling Rise
Mad Panic Coaster
Odo Odo Oddity (Technically, the only real music found in this set is from the movie audio. The brunt of this is pretty much just ambience... I still thought it would make for an interesting rip, though)
Option Tuning Car Battle
Option Tuning Car Battle 2
Option Tuning Car Battle Spec-R
Soukou Kihei Votoms: Lightning Slash
Soukou Kihei Votoms: Uoodo Kumen-hen (Oddly, this is more cutscene audio than actual music, despite the "BGM" file names...)
Same deal as with my previous PSFs apply this time, too (I'll improve at some point....). Otherwise, I might have a few more uploads soon, time will tell!

Asphalt 8 - Nice racing game.. Awesome music ! Noisy ;-) !
Stargate SG1 - Unleashed Ep 1

I usually try to be careful that I don't upload something that already exists, but I suppose I have slipped up from time to time (though there's the obvious exceptions where I've added to existing rips, like with those PS1 sets from a while back). - @Marcusss: Hi, how do you do? Do you remember that Stuntman: Ignition score / soundtrack I sort of requested not so long ago? I tried ripping PS2 version of it but it's definitely utter pain in the butt to process since Sony ADPCM data is supposedly headerless and programs like ADPCM Player v1.44h or CubeMedia2.exe can find and extract very few individual streams (more or less) properly. On many occasions these progs split one composition into 2, 3 or even 4 pseudo files so I had to stitch them together once again. Also numerous tracks still don't sound quite right even when correct (I'm sure!) interleave value is assigned to them, it's bad rip issue I presume (I mean those tracks seemingly lack a tiny bit of required data in the beginning or ending so that incomplete stream is played back with quite a bit of nasty reverb even when correct interleave value is assigned to them). Select few still sounded like crap even after splicing and setting interleave to resulting files so that I had to manually cut those compositions out of a given bigfile.
Anyway I managed to discover some of the best original tracks from this score and even got them all working all right. That's why I'm happy to present you small sampler of VGM coming from Stuntman 2 (its unofficial name) in SS2 form (thanks to Alpha23's scripts I got those BGMs in kind of streamed form). Some of my beloved tracks remind of Battlezone (PSP one) & Spy hunter: Nowhere to run, others sound almost like original music from Driver: San Francisco or 007: Agent under fire (or quite a few different JB VGs of that time). I even included one of licensed songs, it's instrumental composition named "Mustang Nismo" and composed by Brian Tyler; it originates from "The fast and the furious: Tokyo drift" movie.
So if my tiny package motivates you to try and rip Stuntman: Ignition (X360 preferably but PS3 will also do) I'll be more than happy to see such a rip added to VGM archives at some point. Be sure that I'll be the 1st to really appreciate your work and check it out ASAP!
Best wishes!
PS. May I also ask you to look into Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (PC or PS3) as well as check out Rise of the dark spark while you're at it? The latter apparently utilizes mostly or only BGM from Fall of Cybertron but there still might be some unique tracks.
If you have no idea what style of music is used there I can always provide samples and you're gonna like them, take my word for that! I almost completed listening to JoshW X360 set for this title and it sounds like a wicked cross between Gears of war: Judgment & Bulletstorm. Of course you can get yourself full copy too, this score's pretty short anyway so that you shouldn't be afraid to try it out. So are you in or not?
Bye again!

- .hack//G.U. finally ripped and loopable, just in time for Last Recode! This rip of G.U. contains a lot of music, some of which isn't available anywhere else, even on the soundtrack, lots of bonuses and extras. If you like .hack music, you'll love this! (Additionally, if anyone knows where I can get the .hack//Archives_02 WHITE LIMITED EDITION -Special Sound Track- please let me know; I don't know if the books they came in still contain them if bought on Amazon or were a truly limited run and are forever lost aside from a few low quality YouTube uploads...)
The Binding of Isaac (the original, PC version) contains all tracks, loopable, and SE & jingles as well. I believe it's up to date with all the music in the latest Eternal version.
.hack//Quarantine is an update to an old rip from Lawrence Lin's PSF Mirror listed as .hack//Outbreak. I added the opening music from each disc which was PSS demuxed and fixed a few tracks which had bad sample quality for some reason (perhaps not intended to be played on that disc?), though had trouble adding end tags for those files, but they still loop properly.
.hack//G.U. Vol. 3 Redemption
.hack//Quarantine
The Binding of Isaac
The current upload of Okage: Shadow King (PS2) has only the opening and ending tracks. Most of the music uses XSQ/XV files where XV contain the samples (which can be extracted in wav) and XSQ contains the playback information for the particular track. Ones ending in 0.XV are generally percussion while those ending in 1.XV are generally melodic samples. Most towns/cities have a "B" version that plays inside buildings that I'm guessing uses the same samples but references a different part of the corresponding XSQ file(?). As far as the filenames go, cty - city, dzn - dungeon, evn - event, evs - event sound?, fld - field, jgl - jingle, snt - battle.
It's one of my favorite soundtracks, and the BGM/Modules are only a 7 MB download zipped if anyone wants to try their hand at it. I can do the filename tagging of all the tracks if anyone can get them playable (though I'm inept at end/loop tagging), but it's incredibly tedious to label them all using just the samples and vague filenames.

- Here's a few Halloween PC rips, though I can't guarantee all of them are spooky:
Broken Armor
HOCKEY SPACE
Legend of Fainn Dynasty: Battles of Beautiful Warlords
Nightmare Boy
RPG Fighter League
Think of the Children
Winged Sakura: Endless Dream
Enjoy!

- @Metroandroid: Big thanks for The binding of Isaac, it's the only one I was missing although I have streamed rips for all other installments including Afterbirth+. Nice work, keep it up!
@Marcusss: Fall of Cybertron (PC or PS3, also Gold edition for PS3) should be a breeze for an experienced UE3 VG ripper, I don't even have any exact preferences since all 3 versions might use both stereo & 5.1 FSB MP3 and even actually utilize the very same files.
Stuntman: Ignition is very unlikely straight-forward, it might use headerless XMA in a bigfile just as it has headerless ADPCM stored in a BGM archive on PS2/PS3. Anyway I hope that we can get some unpacking \ playback help (Bnnm maybe?) if it gets really tough for us.
As for my sampler I can probably process like 2/3 of contents of SFXMUSIC.MBK (extracted using Fastelbja's player and sometimes completely by hand with hex editor) but remainder is much harder to work with. I guess that for the latter ones I'll have to try and cut each of them out of music archive all by myself but I don't seriously consider such an option just yet. My guess is that I'd better wait (or try ripping PS3 ver. again) and some game specific script or even dedicated utility will appear and do the job just fine. Of course I can wait a bit before going into such lengths.
Bye everyone!

- I can def take a look at Dies irae; I didn't think there were any differences in the audio between the Steam release and the original release of Amantes amantes, but if the encryption is changed and exdieslib doesn't work then maybe it's a quality thing or other weird stuff. There may be an updated version somewhere, but honestly I can't even find the version updated by someone for Bansenjin that I accidentally lost a while ago.

- Alrighty, that time of week is here:
PC
Holy Potatoes! What the Hell?!
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! in the life!
Luna (Didn't have time to sort this one out.... sorry)
PAWARUMI
spaceBOUND
Steamburg
Super Man or Monster
PS1
Aozora to Nakamatachi: Yume no Bouken Plus
Kamen Rider
PS3
Ratchet: Deadlocked HD (I noticed that the HD trilogy was available, but not the 4th game's port, so.... here it is!)
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (Man, this one took me forever to rip... hope I managed to get all the music, short as the tracks are)
On the subject of Ratchet, I'm gonna see if I can do All 4 One next. Can't guarantee I'll have it up very soon, though.....

- @Marcusss: Wow that's quite a heavy load of swell VGM you added to archives! I'm very interested in both Ridge racer rips (having just listened to RR 3D set) & Assassin's creed - Pirates (I found out about this title when it was requested in Alpha23's VGMPP topic but somehow he never made (completed?) that rip so I have yet to discover what this score really is).
I wish you to encounter as many easily rippable VGs as possible and less unplayable VXN files too. See you!
@ChillyBilly: Huge thnx for providing Ratchet: Deadlocked HD, it's probably my most favorite one in the series. I'm also looking forward to your future "All 4 one" gamerip, I considered checking out an OST for this installment months ago but haven't done it yet.
Bye!

- @Chillybilly For the FFA rip and other insomniac engine games the filenames for the tracks are stored in the respective resident_sound.dat file for each streaming_sound.dat file.
- by marcusss at 12:46 PM EDT on November 4, 2017
- @Ultrafighter : Yeah I always hope or easy rips..but yeah lately more damn VXN files started popping up.
Will try to get around ripping some more PC stuff soon.. I saw .hack//G.U. Last Recode was released on pc as well. Interesting.
Anyway some more rips that should make their way onto the server shortly or later on in the day.
= PC =
* SoulSet - Nice music. Another one of those Visual Novel Games
* Cally's Caves 3
* Otaku's Fantasy
= iOS =
* Overkill 3
* Lili
* Devious Dungeon
* Devious Dungeon 2
* Magic Duels
* Rambo The Mobile Game
* Heroes of Order Chaos
* Infinite Jets -- Music is Apple Quicktime IMA some songs work but somehow others don't even though structure is very similar. Coinicendence? most or all .caf files with info don't work and those with no info work??
Plus quite a few more..later on
Managed to get Asphalt Xtreme working now. ALL music. Reuploading..
Took some noticing but MPC music is split. Some .mpc tracks have multiple mpcksh header insider which needed HEX editing. ANy updates in music I will reupload as a few mobile games with VXN files are playable now as Musepack
Lots *NOT ALL* VXN files are just container? Inside Musepack headers most of the time can be found
-----
Reuploaded Asphalt Xtreme and Iron Blade as all music is now working. Got the working MPC files inside the VXN files and had to split up the MPC files but all OK now for these 2 games :-)
Asphalt Xtreme has some good beats !

- Anybody knows whether you can decrypt VITA PKGs on a PC?
I know you can download them from PSN, transfer them to VITA and decrypt the data there, but I don't have the HW to do so.
Not interested in decrypting the executable, since it's all about the music extraction.
Lots of PC tools like pkg_dec or pkg2zip popped out lately, but all seem to output encrypted data. :(

- Just a single PSF set for tonight:
Pandemonium! (Still not timed, unfortunately)
@Polokus: Thanks for the tip! That's gonna come in handy when I get started on All 4 One! Well, until next time!
