Why hasn't the SF6 PS4 set been updated yet for a long time? There's a few new tracks missing from the gamerip (mostly all of the new music that was added in Year 2, and the new music added during Year 3). Since Sagat's update was released in-game recently, there will be more new tracks added in with C. Viper's update on October 15, and with Alex and Ingrid's updates at later dates next year.

While's there's still no updated PS4 set of Street Fighter 6 with the newly added tracks from Years 2 and 3 yet... I checked into the Chunithm Verse rip (although all of it's tracks were untagged), and the SF6 main theme was hiding inside the set (the 2-minute music video version of it, at least)!
As "Not On The Sidelines" was added to Chunithm Verse as a playable song that's part of an in-game collaboration running from January 6th 2025 up until February 5th, you can find the SF6 track by looking for "music2793" (it's internal title in the game).

Hasn't the full version of Lumines Arise been ripped? I'm still waiting for the game's Original Soundtrack album to be released on music streaming services, but I know that Hydelic and Takako Ishida did the music for the entire soundtrack.

As for all of the other in-game music that isn't listed in the staff roll, but used in-game (such as the Tutorial, Menus, final round of Burst Battle, etc.) those tracks may have been composed by either Hydelic, or Takako Ishida. I recieved an email from Enhance that has a section explaining the upcoming OST album, with a message hinting that "a full original soundtrack is planned and will be announced at a later date".

Hey everyone, is this the correct thread to make requests? I just found out about a Tetris game with music I've never listened to, for the Nintendo 64! Tetris 64, I always thought I had it but it turned out to be a different game named The New Tetris. Tetris 64 came with an add-on that measured your heart beats and adjusted its difficulty depending on it. Apparently its soundtrack hasn't been ripped anywhere, all we have is 4 songs uploaded to Youtube, so I thought about requesting an USF rip of the game, or a pointer about how to rip it (I asked about doing that 16 years ago, but I gather ripping N64 music from the games hasn't gotten any easier since then.)

Been spending the last few days cleaning up the XML2 files from the 2024-06-21 download listed on the site. By "cleaning up" I mean capitalizing company names the same way they are in the XML1 files for the 2026 version of Hoot, replacing romanized titles in the Vermouth XML with the proper Japanese Kanji titles, and changing all instances of "PC/AT" to "IBM PC." This should ensure there are no duplicate company names, redundant system names, or mismatched game titles when using Hoot Player. ALSO decided to change the encoding for all the XML2 files to UTF-8, because with them being encoded in Shift-JIS/Windows-1252, making any changes to them and saving them would cause all the Japanese text to either change into mojibake, or strings of question marks. I tried to not make any unnecessary changes (adding new XML sets, adding extra info that isn't in the original sheets) But if you find anything that should be changed to make things more consistent, lemme know, or even feel free to make those changes yourself.
