Mr. Nutz GBA music ripping by Akudaijin at 9:13 PM EDT on June 18, 2019
Hello. I've been trying to rip music from a game developed by DreamOn Studio called Mr. Nutz, and the audio engine that they used is not a standard Sappy one.

I've tried importing the ROM raw in Audacity, that just gives me some sound effects, and perhaps some instruments it seems like, not a stream of songs except the intro logos.

I've also tried to record the music using the emulator, but the game doesn't support disabling sound effects so I can't record a perfect song without sound effects ruining it.

There's also a specific song that plays at the end of the game which then cuts short and so I can't even fully record it.

The only thing left is somewhat debugging/hacking the game but I have no clue where to start. Is there anything else I can try which would be a bit easier to understand? I don't even know what kind of audio driver it's using to begin with unfortunately.
MIDI Patch Isolator? by (!!!!!) at 1:19 AM EDT on June 20, 2019
Does anyone know of a program that can isolate notes that play on different patches in a single channel into separate channels or rather into their own midi files? e.g. channel 1 of a midi swaps between patch 1, patch 5, and patch 13 at different intervals with events that occur when the patches swap. Being able to isolate those 3 or so patches while keeping the midi automation that occurs during each patch change separated in their own channel or preferably into their own file.

Mario + Rabbids music loops(Wwise) by CosmicDreams at 4:10 PM EDT on June 21, 2019
So i've been looking into the music of Mario + Rabbids and quite a lot of the music has no loop data despite them looping in game.
I've been looking for months now and i recently found out that the .BNK files could contain events.
Was wondering if the events could maybe hold the loop information?

Identifying track names of Penny-Punching Princess by Trotminister at 10:16 AM EDT on June 24, 2019
I'd like to add Penny-Punching Princess' soundtrack to my music library, but the Switch version's rip by bxaimc isn't labeled in any way. Could someone please take a look at PS4 version, see if those tracks have any sort of names?

I'm asking this because the same studio has made Princess Guide, also ripped and uploaded here. And while the Switch rip is nameless, PS4 rip has labels like BATTLE, TALK, etc. So I'm hoping it's the same with PPP.

Help identifying/converting Rise of the Dragon SEGA CD music format (non CD audio) by spikey699 at 3:44 AM EDT on June 25, 2019
Hey folks,

Hope everyone's doing well :)

I have an obscure request, and this seems like a good forum for it.

The western game "Rise of the Dragon" on SEGA CD uses CD audio for a few tracks, but mostly BIN files as small, roughly MIDI sized music files for 95% of the game's music. The original DOS game used MIDI for music.

The game itself for the BGM sounds like it is playing some tracker format (whether MIDI or a converted form), and PCM samples are clearly used in playback, for example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwoXu_8QQ_c&list=PLfd3SY7ln9aCZY40OXHjqMtb14OkBuXG1&index=11&t=0s

PCM drums ahoy!

Anyway, any help in converting this file format would be greatly appreciated.

A sample BIN file can be found here:

Possible to convert sound test in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to MP3/WAV form? by Rew at 5:47 PM EDT on June 30, 2019
Hi folks! I know there are plenty of game rips of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate out there (including at least one on this forum), but those tend to be 2 loops per track. I want something that's as close as possible to listening to the actual Ultimate sound test on my computer or my smartphone (without having to take my Switch everywhere, haha).

What I'm looking for is a rip of the sound test in Ultimate with the same ordering and exact same track length, fade-out, etc. Is that... possible? To rip it in such a way, that is?

Currently what I'm doing is taking a rip I found of all Smash Bros. music (it's one that was posted to Reddit, that's high-quality, remastered and all that). I've weeded out the tracks not in the Ultimate sound test, then put all 876 remaining in order. And now it's a grueling slog going into Audacity on each and every track to cut each one down to the exact length (I have to estimate to the nearest quarter of a second) and use the envelope feature to get the fade-outs just right. And that doesn't cover the handful of tracks where the game rip version is shorter than the sound test version!

Is there an easier way? Is it possible to rip these tracks in their sound test form with the lengths and fade-outs as they are in the sound test? Are there any alternative methods I haven't considered yet?

M&M's Adventure game files for WII (mostly the music files). by Jack Krowell at 5:19 PM EDT on July 5, 2019
To the one's who both own this forum site, and post the necessary .7z files for games, I kindly ask, is there any chance you could add a download for the WII version of M&M's adventure?

I know you already have a download for said game (for NDS), but I only request this because the WII version of M&M's Adventure has soundtrack I'm interested in hearing, so it's likely that a download of that version would have "ex-tractable" files for the games soundtrack.

Manhunt 2 soundtrack event cues (such as idle, suspicious, spotted, combat, and scene failed/complete). by Jack Krowell at 5:15 PM EDT on July 6, 2019
For the music files of the Manhunt 2.7z files, do any of them contain event cues of the OST (you know like, idle, suspicious, spotted, combat, and scene failed/complete)?

If so, then is there any way I could extract those event cues into separate audio files?

So far, the only trace I could find of those music event cues for the different Manhunt 2 scenes are encrypted in their own files, all merged/mixed and rendered together.

How do to make .TXTH files at all? by Jack Krowell at 12:32 AM EDT on July 9, 2019
I used a hex editor called HxD to open a music file from a downloaded Manhunt .ISO file and viewed the hex code/raw data. The name of the music file is MALL_M.MIB, and as you can see, it's in .MIB format.

But the question I'm wanting to ask is, how exactly do I make a .TXTH file for the .MIB file's
data?

But most notable of all, How exactly do I make .TXTH file formats at all?

I've been searching for a way to convert some BRSEQ files directly to WAV (using their associated BRWAR and BRBNK files) but it seems the only tools I can find are for converting them to MIDI+SF2 which obviously doesn't reproduce the audio super accurately. Is there a tool I'm missing or has no one fully figured out the format yet?

Sample compression hiss. by Squeals92 at 7:29 PM EDT on August 3, 2019

Unpacking Wwise *.pck archives (AKPK) by Ultrafighter at 5:48 AM EDT on August 4, 2019
Hi guys, can anyone give me a quick summary of good up-to-date means of unpacking Wwise *.pck archives with 'AKPK' identifier? There's a VG I'm ripping with both BNKs & a PCK and the latter is causing me some nuisance.

You probably know that I normally use this
but this time it couldn't extract a single stream so I took my time to check out this & that just in case but still no dice.
Then I googled a bit, found this but decided it's not good enough + presumably obsolete; my 2nd find was RavioliGameTools v2.10 I heard so much about but never used myself.
Well both RExplorer.exe & RExtractor.exe did their jobs better (I got multiple folders named like english(us), french(france), sfx, etc. + files named like 10169832 or 1003257723) BUT for some reason all the files have size of 0 Bytes.

So are there any worthy means / alternative solutions I haven't tried yet? My question isn't entirely academic you know: I may use VGMToolbox to rip all WEMs from that damn PCK (amount of tracks is the same as when I use RavioliGameTools) and there's no XML with track names anyway BUT it also means I'll have to listen to those unneeded localized streams (for 4 languages in addition to English) & that trial I'd really like to avoid. Anyone able to give me a hand here?

Goodbye!
SM3DW weird sound files help by Mr.Sanic at 6:55 PM EDT on August 5, 2019
so, i was digging into the SoundData folder in SM3DW and there's some audio files in .SARC, .BFSAR and .SZS format.

but apparently, the BgmData.bfsar and SeData.bfsar doesn't seem to work. VGMToolbox couldn't extract the .bfwavs and only got two .BFWARs that i don't know what to do.

for the .SARC and .SZS files, i used UWizard, again, with no sucess, i got some .BFGRPs that i also have no idea to how to work with them.

i would really appreciate some help, i really need those audio streams.

i know, there's a site that has all of the sound effects, but i wanted to extract them myself.
BridgeM1 memory(?) error by Specter at 2:32 PM EDT on August 6, 2019
I tried to fire up BridgeM1 today and I got lots and lots of memory-related(?) errors like these which made the program unusable.

What's weird, is that I was using it just a few days ago and it was working A-OK. I didn't updated my OS or anything, all of the sudden it just stopped working. Tried the usual fixes (rebooting, running the program under various compatibility modes, running as administrator etc.) and they didn't work. Anyone has any idea how to fix it?

By the way, what's everyone using for the arcade soundtracks these days? BridgeM1 hasn't been updated in ages and Hoot seems to have issues playing quite a few of soundtracks, with many tracks playing faster/slower compared to BridgeM1.

Extracting audio from Astal (Sega Saturn) by mkdude at 11:37 PM EDT on August 12, 2019
I've been trying to play back the audio files from Astal for the Sega Saturn. As someone who has enjoyed the soundtrack for this game, I wanted to try my hand on getting the audio files to play correctly. The audio files are in .P16 format. When attempting to figure out the PCM format in Audacity, I had some problems with warbled audio and clicks. Attempting to use GENH headers didn't get me very far either.

When researching the files, it was found that these are 22khz stereo 16-bit Motorola PCM, but I can't seem to figure out how to fix the audio issues for proper playback. I have attached samples of the audio files if someone wants to assist me on figuring out how these files work.

foobar_midi Always Crashing by MoldyPond at 5:06 PM EDT on August 15, 2019
This wasn't the case up until about a year ago but at some point the foo_midi extension causes foobar to crash. It will always wait about 20 seconds before crashing, literally every single time. Uninstalling the plugin fixes everything. I've also been updating foobar at all times and just recently upgraded to a fresh new copy of windows 10 from 8.1 and it's still happening. Just wondering if anyone else knows about this or if it's just broken now. Thank you very much :)
odyssey bfstm not looping want help by porocopi16 at 2:10 AM EDT on August 17, 2019
hello i'm new

i dumped odyssey after having downloaded a copy off joshw but this one song doesn't loop properly in either version so i wanted to know if there was some kinda fix for this because listening to it ingame it does loop properly

its name is StmRsBgmBossHaikai_B.bfstm (the octopus fight)

i'm not sure what to do, hence why i made an account. looping audio converter mentioned something like the 'index was outside the bounds of the array' too when splitting this song's channels up

i'm using foobar2000 and the latest vgmstream otherwise, i really want to be able to listen to it like ingame only for however long i want, most other odyssey bfstms function this way it's just this one that seems to abruptly end and it bothers me.
Create .TXTH from unmodified .OGG by asam1 at 5:02 PM EDT on August 19, 2019
Hello.
I'm asking for a guide or tips on how to create loopable music from .ogg files/rips.
I know the Metadata 'LOOP_START=' edit, but it's not a clean process - it adds/replaces data inside the file, and does not preserve original .ogg. GENH is too much, and I'm being told that TXTH is the way to go, but I did not find OGG format.
I tried codec = FFMPEG, channels = 2, sample_rate = 44100, loop_start_sample = <###>, num_samples = <###> or data_size, but the .logg.thtx file does not play.
If it's not much bother.
Thanks.

DS games music looping and splitting by porocopi16 at 8:57 AM EDT on August 29, 2019
so uh this is gonna be kinda weird to stuff together.

so uh i was listening to Sonic Rush Adventure's rip of Big Swell, the final boss of that game and I researched for online versions and came across this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgmzk4MfoT0

They mention in the description that this version plays when you're not actually near the boss and that it's not in the sound test or any sound tracks.

So I fiddled with a rip of the song from a rom in vgmtrans to try and create a high quality rip, turns out it's just muting that one really frequently used high-pitched instrument in the song that would create the effect the game is producing with this song. Vgmtrans omits an instrument around the middle of the song, which i later found out was usage of the psg by another program that only semi-understood how it was meant to work, as it doesn't seem to be able to use it the same. I tried other programs, the psg either sounds off or it's not there.

I even looked up some tutorials other people were putting up on how you can alter the sequence file by changing it to a midi, deleting the track, turning it back into a sseq file, but all these omitted the psg instrument in the middle so that was fruitless.

I only have a temporary solution and that's one program called vg music studio could rip the song right from the SDAT and play it, and while the psg does play, it still sounds a little off. The song's name in the files in the correct sdat is SEQ_bossF.

i can provide a rip of the sound sdat from rush adventure if too confusing, but basically the songs get dynamically altered like how bfstms and the like have different channels they can phase in and out and it's not present in the rips i've seen and done thus far

and in talking about phasing in and out channels i wanna talk about another game on the DS that is practically unrelated in every way except that it similarly features these problems when listening to two tracks. Nintendogs, the bathing and walking themes

The bathing theme is dynamic because in-game when your dogs are really dirty they leave out this really dingy instrument that they slowly phase in as you clean the dog. Basically, there's no version of this song that i've ripped or seen anywhere that is aware of this dynamic.

and the walking theme as well. The rip that I've both done myself and seen on the site is stuck at the beginning part when you draw the line for your path, along with the fact no rip i've ever seen or done of the song omits the fast drums and/or the panting sample for the peeing/garbage respectively asociated with the walking game, nor has any rip ever really looped past the first part and onto the second part when you're actually walking where the song becomes far more cheerful and energetic.

in the rip on joshw, they're labelled as bgm 23 and 24, although my rip has them labelled as NTR-AD2E-USA-001b and NTR-AD2E-USA-001c

just want to account for dynamic tracks, if they were dynamic bf/r/cstms it would be simply using looping audio converter or txtps to choose channels but since it's on the primitive ds it's much harder

so yeah if such could be accounted for in the rips somehow that'd be appreciated

what also didn't help was i found a forum post from 2008 of someone claiming to want to isolate sound channels in the ds, and someone else's response was to use vio2sf in foobar to do it via the options, but no such option is present in foobar for the vio2sf plugin, just to allow songs to loop and the like, nothing about isolating channels or instruments.

so uh yeah sorry for the ramble but yeah if we could account for that like these songs here that'd be great.
Freddi Fish Music Files by MoldyPond at 1:28 AM EDT on September 1, 2019
I went through my old PC CD collection and found I still had Freddi Fish. I noticed that there are no uploads of the music anywhere here, nor can I find the files on the disc. I believe the files should be within the FREDDI.HE files (as these are the only files that actually take up any space), however I can't find any way of extracting them. I've tried Xayrga's WAVE RIFF Extractor but it could only find two WAV files that won't even load in foobar.

I've posted the contents of the game in case anyone would be willing to look into this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Gran Turismo SEQ to MIDI converter by xan1242 at 12:22 AM EDT on September 5, 2019
Hi all,

I'm working on a tool to convert GT's seq files (SEQG magic) to MIDI. I've made little progress on the tool but as soon as it's ready I'll post the source on GitHub.

Right now I've only been able to convert the first track of spu_09.seq (from GT2)

Download test midi

(midi was reexported thru cakewalk to optimize it for now)

I'm still deciphering the commands/events of this format so it's far from finished.

Another note I'd like to add: on some other midis, like in the track "From the east" (aka east city) the drums are perfectly mapped to the Sound Canvas.

Twilight Princess SFX and Music Rip? by Uikri at 5:50 AM EDT on September 7, 2019
I see that there's a very old thread where apparently "perfect" quality music was ripped from Twilight Princess on the GameCube. I also read that apparently the SFX use the same format as the music. Given this, is a sound effect rip for the possible/available, and would voice clips from the characters of the game be counted as SFX? If not, I'm wondering if it's possible to rip the voice clips from the game? hcs, you seem quite knowledgeable on the subject; could you advise me on this matter. I'm more interested in the SFX right now than the music, but I won't lie that a lossless or midi+soundfont OST for Twilight Princess is enticing.

P.S. On the subject of GameCube OSTs, have Pikmin 1 and/or 2 been successfully ripped/converted?

I think MarkGrass dealt with BOLT in Namco Museum here and here, it seems to be a general bigfile, not just audio. But the links to the extractor are down.

this was designed for Redump-made Xbox releases, which is as of now currently somewhat easy to find. as of right now though this can only extract "file entries" from the main directory(as in, the directory that this default.xbe file is in). the "directory entries" themselves though is in need of some serious help from an experienced quickBMS coder(yes even i need help that badly), as the directory parsing gets fine on the USA version of Fusion Frenzy but not on Halo Combat Evolved(there's a version of the game that contains various demos, and one of those demos seem to use as many folders as it can)...

[Request] More updated rip of R-Type Command by blood_falcon at 11:59 AM EDT on September 15, 2019

Specify (limit) playable length for segment (TXTP) by almendaz at 6:08 PM EDT on September 18, 2019
Hello.
I want to create a TXTP, but I have not found the command for the solution to this problem:

1
I have two .FSB non-loopable samples (they do not contain loop info).

2
The first segment does not end properly (it has EXACTLY 1 second of silence at the end - 44100 samples literally!)

3
The second segment is perfectly loopable.

4
Both segments have the same num.channels.

I want to create a TXTP that takes the 1st segment ending before its last 1 sec, then go to 2nd segment and make this one loop.
Nintendo DS sound effect/sample replacing? by Mario123311 at 2:52 AM EDT on September 19, 2019
So, I've been trying to make a little mod for Sonic Colors that replaces Roger Craig Smith's voice with Jason Griffith, However upon doing so with Tinke and repacking the soundbank, The sound is all slowed down and distorted, It's like that when I reopen the soundbank in Tinke as well and play after packing/saving.

Anybody know a workaround for this at all? It's a noobish, question I know - But I honestly would like to get this small patch out there.

Need assistance in ripping music from R-Type Tactics II PSP by blood_falcon at 10:18 PM EDT on September 20, 2019
Hi Guys, do any of you know how to join .mid/.phd/.pbd into one single file of .at3 or .psfp?

I am extracting CMN.DAT from R-Type Tactics II, but it only comes out as .PHD, .MID and .PBD.

I checked inside vgmtoolbox official thread here, there is an PSF Packer, but no binaries and no tutorial for repacking .mid/.phd/.pbd.

Would anyone be so kind to help me?

Thank you again and again.

DKC3 GBA Soundfont Attempt by Squeals92 at 9:35 PM EDT on September 23, 2019
I've recently attempted to make a DKC3 GBA soundfont using an accurate PCM rip I found online.

DKC3 GBA uses massive sample loops (almost 100!) to make up a majority of music just hacked up as instruments for some reason, very likely to save time or laziness.

This also means, in theory, you might be able to remake some tracks by matching the looping pattern samples sequences from scratch.

For the instruments that aren't sample loops, I tried to do looping myself to guess how it should sound (take note it's probably not 100% accurate).

Arc Developments AVF-95 .huf video by hcs at 5:39 AM EDT on September 24, 2019
I picked up a copy of the PC version of Johnny Bazookatone, mostly for the audio CD, but I'd like to do a proper rip of the game as well. The music is mostly CDDA, and there's sfx that are normal RIFF WAV, but the video is in a format with extension .huf and magic word "[AVF-95]". I assume this is some in-house thing, no trace of it on the web as far as I can tell. I also assume the audio is in there, I don't think they just use the CDDA tracks during video, but I'm not 100% sure.

It's probably not worth spending too much effort on, as we have the audio for the videos in all the console versions, but I figured I'd put the data up here in case someone wants to take a crack at it: JOHNNY_B.
Ripping Timesplitters 2 downloaded ISO disc image file with WinCDEmu advise. by Jack Krowell at 4:08 PM EDT on September 24, 2019
So I happen to have downloaded the 7z file for the ISO of the GameCube version of Timesplitters 2 from ROMmania website, and after extracting it, I got the ISO's disc image file.

Now the problem I'm faced with is that I'm wanting to open/mount the ISO disc image with WinCDEmu, like I'm wanting to rip it myself, but when I try to open it, I get an "Error" message saying "Unknown or corrupted file."

Any advise on how to fix this issue, or if I'm doing anything wrong?
Advice on converting the .pak files found within the GameCube disc image file of Timesplitters: Future Perfect. by Jack Krowell at 8:40 PM EDT on September 24, 2019
So upon adventuring within the files of Timesplitters: Future Perfect for GameCube, I stumbled across a mass quantity of files in both .pak and .c2n format.

Such a find had got me thinking, in TS:FP, there's this ambiance-like music heard at the very beginning of the story level, "What Lies Below"(In fact, there's also ambiance-like sound effects heard while playing through the previous level, "Mansion of Madness").

Any advice on how to convert .pak files into a playable format, perhaps any software that can convert said files.
Anarchy Reigns ( Trying to find SFX / Ingame sounds ) by TheGoldenChild at 1:28 PM EDT on September 28, 2019
Hello, currently I am trying to find the actual in game sound effects and fighting sound files for anarchy reigns. There are two CPK files that I have and when fully extracted it only gives the voice files for non action scenes.

Extracting the SFX with CPK was the easy part but I wasn't able to find the SFX and Ingame voice sound effects in the Sound effect CPK which is "002". The "002" only has the cut scene sound effects but nothing for the in game. I was wondering if I could have some help trying to locate those files.

Files:
"CPK 000"

"CPK 002"

"Avatar Assets"

"Langse_US"

If one needs I can upload the whole games data files.

XSS mitigation by hcs at 12:06 PM EDT on October 3, 2019
Well, someone submitted a XSS vulnerability notification to a bug bounty program that I'm not registered with, and which requires a Twitter account. Thanks, I guess, though I don't know why the heck they'd tie it to Twitter, it sounds like a phishing attempt that way.

The only thing I know of is it's easy to do something like this, but that requires interaction. Cookies have been https-only for a while (though CSRF is still possible). If anyone notices other possibilities, please do let me know. Otherwise I guess we'll see in January if they choose to disclose it then. If you're reading this, feel free to post it sooner.

As a general purpose mitigation I'm turning on Content-Security-Policy, an easy step that I've meant to do for a while. There isn't any reason to allow any kind of JS on here anyway. I'm restricting img src to https while at it, which will break some images. If anything else breaks, let me know.

This only helps with modern browsers, but I think that covers most of you. Ideally the whole mess would be rewritten, off the top of my head keeping HTML in the database was a bad decision, but I don't have the time or inclination to do that now.

[WIP] Animal Crossing New Leaf Soundfont by Tori at 6:01 PM EDT on October 6, 2019
Before I say anything, this is my first proper experience of making soundfonts, so I'm probably doing at least something wrong lol.

Alright, so, it'll take a while but I'm going to try to make a general purpose ACNL soundfont.

I extracted every single sound from Animal Crossing New Leaf's bcsar file with VGMToolbox which gave me a lot of .bcwav files.

Going to try map each file (.bcwav) to what they actually are, probably in a .txt file so I can remember them (e.g. animal talking noises, letter sounds, typing sounds, item sounds, instruments)
(lmao this will take a lot of time though, since there are 3,279 bcwav files I have on hand)

Then I'll most likely try to make each instrument loop correctly. If anyone's interested, I'll try to keep this thread updated as I go along

Question about TXTP macro "crossfade" by qwertysampletext at 10:46 PM EDT on October 9, 2019
When using TXTP macro crossfade, is there a way to get the audio to fade back into the first group of channels after playing the last group? Example: it's used on two pairs of channels. It starts on the first pair, then fades into the second pair but keeps playing that after a loop. Can i have it fade back into the first pair after this?
Sonic 4 (WiiWare) Midi + SF2 by Squeals92 at 7:15 AM EDT on October 11, 2019
Made this because I was informed the game uses sequenced music, and I couldn't find any sort of rip here.

The game uses 2 banks (and I don't know what sequences use which banks) so you'll have to toy with it yourself. VGMtrans_WTL was used to export the sequences/soundbanks.

Spyro RT Rip Help by hoodlum47 at 11:48 AM EDT on October 13, 2019
Hello All,

I'm super happy we now have the source audio files for Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The only thing that ruins it for me is the fact, like most Wwise games, the files themselves are a mess.

In bxaimc's rip, he also provided the banks that go with each level with which I thought I could at least group the files by level. However, these banks aren't the original containers for the audio like I thought and they have very small filesizes. But maybe these banks have the filenames that links to each level's music?

I tried to do some digging myself to no avail. Can someone assist?

P.S. I am not at all ungrateful for bxaimc providing the files themselves, I just hate the way Wwise handles filenames and want to clean them up in someway to make finding the songs I want easier.

Default Windows MIDI Soundfont by MoldyPond at 12:55 AM EDT on October 26, 2019

Manhunt 2 PC .fsb files trouble extracting. by Jack Krowell at 5:06 PM EST on November 17, 2019
Yeah so I downloaded the .7z soundtrack file for the PC version of Manhunt 2, and I'm having issues extracting the .fsb files with fsbii.exe.

I already placed the fsbii.exe application in the same directory folder with the .fsb soundtrack files, then navigated to the said folder using the cd command in the command prompt, and ran fsbii.exe with one of the .fsb files, and yet, I still couldn't at all manage to extract any soundtrack files from the .fsb file, or even any of them from that matter.

Just how exactly do I extract those .fsb files with fsbii.exe? What exactly am I doing wrong?

Could somebody just please, give me assistance?.

Specific EA SCH1 issue? by BrokenTrain at 10:05 PM EST on December 20, 2019
There seems to be a strange bug with the EA SCH1 decoder in vgmstream. It occurs in a few EA Bright Light PS2/Wii games, specifically: Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, and Hasbro Family Game Night.
I know that the MUSIC.BIG files they have can't be played directly, but splitting the files with something like GAP will produce playable files renamed to .sng and such. The strange part however, is that a lot of the files won't output sound even though the file is playing. This only seems to happen in the latest vgmstream, as older versions (oldest one I have is r1050-739-g5b86339, from Nov 5 2017) can output the sound just fine. I haven't seen this mentioned yet, so does anyone know what's up?
