Apologies if this has come up before, but I note that it isn't in the Stream database. There's a folder on the disc called BGM and contains 4 XA streams, but the rest have .INT extensions. Is there any info on these?

.INT is very generic so it is hard to guess, especially since PS2 isn't exactly my specialty. But it can probably be easily supported, if it isn't already. Have you tried playing the files with vgmstream?

run it through the ADPCM Player to dtermine the format!

Neither VGMStream or ADPCM Player would recognise the format. The files are pretty big (between 6MB and 55MB) so I'm certain they are streams.

If someone would like to take a look, I can send you the RARed files (444MB). I actually ripped this soundtrack years ago via S/PDIF, but I had a problem with a RAID array and most of the files became corrupt.

but one file is enough i think... 1 file per extension, if it has more than 1!

really weird, i'm sure it's pcm, but there's something wrong... i think it has 4 channels or maybe 6 channels!
