Baldur\\\'s Gate :- Dark Alliance 2 music ripping by marcusss at 11:30 AM EDT on June 30, 2008

Hi all.. I like the music from Baldur's Gate :- Dark Alliance 1 & 2 and on the internet is all the crappy, scratchy sound rips, so yeah I have the game and been fiddling around with the .VA1 and .VAT files and using ADPCM Player 1.44H I got lots of .MIB and .PS2 files.. .MIB files play, tho not sure if correct speed but the .ps2 files dont play at all.. interleaved.. anyway to get em working?

Anyway I uploaded some.. its like 21mb as a sample :)

Sorry it is Dark Alliance 2 :P PS2 rip... The game uses lots of .vat and .va files which when I use ADPCM player I can extract files from them , which end up being either .mib or .ps2. Of course .MIB play fine, but only a small percentage are using that format. Instead many of the music extracted is in .ps2 format and does not play or supported anywhere.

Its not Baldur's Gate 1 or 2 , but Dark Alliance as my title suggests tho i did make a mistake in my wording in first post in this thread.. grr :P
I have already ripped lossless versions of most of BG series or D/L them online.. You can see here -->

:P but this game series I want the Soundtracks but yeah since its very difficult to find I want to rip from the game ;) Not easy tho .. he he

No problem.. My mistake :) I love the music from this series.. he he :P . Feel free to grab any FLAC songs and if links down I can up them anywhere..

Thanks for taking a look at my thread tho ^_^. Never seen .ps2 format before so yeah maybe sometime it will be supported :P...or not.. :D
