Annoying Speed Changes by wolupgm6 at 12:09 AM EDT on July 2, 2008
I've noticed that if you rename any of the files in the Super Paper Mario BRSTM set the speed is doubled (from 22050 to 44100). Does anyone know how to stop this?

Oh, and please don't say "Just don't rename them then", because I need to rename them to put onto CD.

Rename them to .brstmpsm and play them with vgmstream. in_cube has an internal list of filenames to do that hack on, vgmstream uses the extension.
Why do you need to rename them to put them on CD?

I haven't downloaded the set, but perhaps a few of the songs have filenames > 64 characters?

He probably wants to make it a sort of music CD using stream format instead, and once they are written to disk, you can't change the names.

That's what I'm gonna do to conserve the GB of disk space, archive on a dvd (or blue ray), and also create a vg music cd with it, or multiple game ost cd or dvd, cover, case, and all.

Thanks, HCS. DChronos is right. I am trying to archive them onto a dvd/blu-ray. I also convert the brstms to mp3s after archiving them an make an OST myself. It's just easier to rename them before converting.
