Wii game rips? by Magnus_Tsunami at 6:43 AM EDT on July 15, 2008
hey, I was wondering, has anyone been able to rip the soundtracks of the following games: Sonic and the secret rings and Mario party 8, if they haven't already been ripped would someone be able to kindly do them for me if they have the spare time? the raw format *.brstm I think is the default right? works fine for me.
hey hcs, was there a reason that you have taken down the bulk of your hosted files? was it due to the fact too many people were downloading them, or some other reason? I mean it's a shame, unless they can be torrented, but I guess that wouldn't help either, my net connection is Broadband 1 Up To 8M/384k which gives me roughly max 400kb/s downloads, but uploads would be slow, but I am willing to help in any way shape or form, I don't get charged for uploads by my service provider, and even though I'm not at my computer 24/7, my pc is on 24/4 though
I would really like to have Super Mario Galaxy ST and some others I can't remember now...
I undertstand why you took them all down though, the site went over bandwidth.
Another thing,
I'm assuming that the custom header for Pokémon Diamond is never going to be decoded, if it can. Just wondering but doesn't Mystery Dungeon use the same header? Or is that a bad assumption? If anyone had tried to decode the header and can't, I would be interested to know...
I think that they were down for almost a year last time it was brought down. Let this be a lesson to you leechers out there. You abuse the server, you lose.
maybe if you make it so you have to login to download? and maybe a minimum of 15 posts or something (dont say about the post thing) and that way only registered people could access it. and leechers who just register to download couldnt either. theyd have to post 15 times but they wouldnt know that.
How about putting them on a FTP? You could control the number of people who are logged in at a time and ban anyone who leeches too much. Just a thought.
yes, but i did not say a password. hcs could decide that and only let specific people know it. maybe even a mailing list and change the password monthly so that it cannot be figured out and posted on message boards.
