USF Problem by icewolf762 at 10:03 AM EST on November 9, 2008
Hey guys. I'm having a problem with some of the USF's I've downloaded. When I go to play them in Winamp, nothing is played at all.

Winamp version: 5.541
64th Note version: 1.1 FINAL

USF archives tried:
Banjo-Kazzoie
Banjo-Tooie
Star Fox 64
Rayman 2

My other USF files work just not these. :/

Hi, I suggest you try using v1.2 beta 3.

I really need to get around to making an installer for this and pushing 1.1 off the main page... could someone with NSIS set up do this for me?

Thanks hcs, that seemed to solve the problem.

I'll be glad to do the installer. I'll do it right away and post a link.

EDIT:
Installer made.

If megaupload is inconvenient, I can upload elsewhere.

EDIT2:
Forgot to say that the installer will auto-detect the users Winamp plugins folder and install it to said folder.

Whoa, big problem with 64th Note 1.2 beta 3. It worked the first time I ran Winamp, but now Winamp just freezes (looks like its trying to seek) and takes up 50% of my dual-core CPU when I try to play a song.

Correction: Seems to happen only when you play Animal Forest songs, exit Winamp, start Winamp, and try to play the Animal Forest songs again.

hm, and I take it you didn't have this problem with older versions? I assume you were on 1.1 final before. Could you test out v1.2b1?

Tested it with 1.2b1, the glitch seems much more inconsistent. Sometimes it doesn't happen.

Unrelated, but I've always wondered why the piano in the Title Theme song from Zelda OoT has such a scratchy attack?

I seem to remember that it actually sounds like that in the game. Listen closely.
