You know, sometimes I wish I had the ability to discern the quality of Gameboy music, because I could swear that this Rockman DX3 music is actually passable, and it's a pirate game. That never happens with pirate games.
Well, I guess the Uncharted Waters music was pretty good.
Exactly my thought. If you search the Web for Rockman DX3 videos, you will see that the graphics and level design are unusually good for a pirate. Sort of weird that a company would put so much effort into ripping off a game.
I got to track 14 in that Rockman DX3 GBS, and it somehow sounded familiar to me, and when I checked, it was the same track from Mega Man V (the GB version) with altered notes.
Also, I didn't know the PAB GBS was around (not in that 'penultimate archive', so... I figured it wasn't ripped.
I got the code used in the GBS into Nezplug++, primarily, FF4B checking for speed. You can change the speed tag, and the set will know from the register what to do.
Meitantei Conan sets were rather a pain to do, but I guess I can try the newer ones.
Oh, and World Heroes 2 Jet is done too.

World Heroes 2 Jet that game uses the Speed Up feature when played on a real Super Gameboy. In fact, I think it's the only game that used the Speed Up feature.
Also, GBS files previously couldn't be ripped with Timer+VBlank enabled, so when I added that relatively recently, there were still GBR files that needed the Timer+VBlank abilities.
You want them? You read the link I posted? Get to converting them. I did a few as proof of concept, or because I thought they'd be listened to, or would benefit from the conversion. Your turn.
And yeah, indeed it's Marc in the credits. Google seems to say though that part is just a typo. Also earlier rips of games from the same developer (mostly by kingshriek) all have Mark Cooksey in them.
Kirikou! I stumbled across that while browsing mobygames and the cover freaked me out :(
I thought there was some other game I wanted to request, but I can't recall....anyway, if it's easy, I'd be interested in the pirate game Final Fantasy X - Fantasy War:

Note how the video description implies it has music from a King of Fighters GBA game? That has me weirded out enough that I want to confirm/deny it.
Argh, what was that other one...I'd say Terrifying 9/11, but I don't think anyone has successfully dumped that yet. Anyway, keep up the good work.
The unripped Natsume games, maybe? Since those that are done have some very nice tunes in them.
Here's the list just in case:

Finished Picross 2 for GB today, and the staff roll confirms that Toshiyuki Ueno listed in the GBS did compose the music (and wrote the music driver as well). If you want, update the GBS file header on site. :)
Guessing the first game was done by him as well, since it uses an earlier version of the driver.
Anyways, some more suggestions (quite a lot of them to be more precise). Feel free to ignore any or all of them.
KID games:
Bakusou Dekotora Densetsu GB Special: Otoko Dokyou no Tenka Touitsu (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=27270) Fastest Lap (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17555) Front Row (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=27107) Gamera: Daikaijuu Kuuchuu Kessen (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=23049) Lil' Monster [Gem Gem Monster] (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=26987) Genjin Cottsu (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=23053) Golf Daisuki! Well, most of KID's good music is in their later output, when they switched to erogames and Takeshi Abo joined as a composer, but there might be something good here as well (Pocket Love games for instance).
Kingshriek ripped most others I think, VGRebirth does list most of them as only published by Infogrames, maybe there are more missing. Alberto Jose Gonzalez does compose some great chiptunes.
Jaleco games:
Banishing Racer (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=22036) Goal! Kinda appropriate, since they went out of business last week. :|

First Pro Mahjong Kiwame which you ripped had some awesome orientalish tunes, hoping to find more here. SNES version of Yakouchuu was pretty nice, wondering how the GBC port compares.
Gremlin games:
Brain Bender (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17008) Dirty Racing (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=22230) Jeep Jamboree Off-Road Adventure (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17585) Muhammad Ali Heavyweight Boxing (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17620) Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17638) Race Days (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17679) United States Hot Rod Association Monster Truck Wars (http://www.vgrebirth.org/games/game.asp?id=17577)
Solid output on the SNES (Top Gear games, many other racers), so likewise, wondering how the Game Boy games sound like.
Obscure-er GBS Request, kinda by SmartOne at 3:27 PM EST on February 3, 2009
Is it possible to edit the battle songs of the Pokemon Crystal GBS to pan some of voices? They're all crammed into mono, unlike Pokemon Yellow's stereo battle songs. They did this to allow panned battle sounds in Crystal. The music would sound so much better with panning.
I just have the games organized in such a way that I couldn't help but see that there was a GB and GBC game by the same name. I just didn't bother to check, as I was kind of on a spree. It was simple enough to rip, so just keep the smaller one.
Incidently, Mogura de Pon! pack on your site looks to be put prematurely, has GB not GBS and the header data for the GBS inside isn't finished (160 subsongs, while only 8 play, bad header tag data, etc).
I accidentally packed the .GB conversion instead of the GBS, and you got a look at my default header values. I hadn't reconverted the GBS to .GB after filling in the details, so it looked incomplete.
I use gamefaqs to check for game names, so it's always possible to get bad data.
Looks like gamefaqs was wrong this time. Oh well. Ace Striker up now too.
The stuff currently available is great, and I do believe Allister Brimble to be their studio composer, and the guy's a classic VGM composer (very solid output on Amiga/GB Advance).
Same deal here, Amiga veteran Matt "4-mat" Simmonds is the studio composer for this developer. And both currently available rips (Air Force Delta and Warriors of Might & Magic) are all kinds of awesome.
Don't think there's much to be said about those 4 companies above. Solid music output overall, though how much of it is developed internally, and how much is just published is hard to tell. Still, there's bound to be some great tunes there. :)
