FAQ update by Mouser X at 9:48 AM EDT on May 24, 2005
I'm not sure if there's any new info to add to it or not, but perhaps one of the questions included should address the question of "Why isn't [insert pre-lim rip here] on the web yet?" Or the question of "Why haven't you ripped [insert game name here]? It's got great music!" (Yes, I realize that some requests have recently been answered, but I was refering to more of a generalized answer such as "Well, I've been to busy and I lost interest in USF for awhile.")

Hopefully, this would help cut down on similar questions being asked numerous times. Also, as I said, I'm not sure if there is more info to add to the current questions or not, but if there is, an update would be nice.

Okay, that was my 2 cents worth. I'll leave now. Mouser X over and out.

That's true, I have answered those in the guestbook a number of times...

Done.

Well, seeing as how many sets are in the prelim area, and that some of them now actually play with the 1.0 beta 10 (soon to be final?), I was wondering if the "prelim" section of the FAQ should be updated to let people know how the sets stand now. After all, Mischief Makers and Bust a Move '99 now both work. Perhaps there's a few other things that should be noted about the prelims.

Just a thought. Hopefully, bringing up a 4 month old topic isn't to big of a problem... Anyway, thanks again for your great work! Mouser X over and out.

HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST THE FAQ IS OUTDATED!?!?!

YOU HAVE INCURRED MY ALL-DESTROYING WRATH!

You're right, of course. I just haven't gotten to it.

I don't know if this deserves a place in the FAQ, but I have no idea what's going on in the prelim section. I bust open the JFG folder and there are like six files to choose from, and I get confused, push Back, and just play F-Zero X instead. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But yeah, it's my problem, not a problem with the site or something that belongs in a FAQ, so I don't know why I'm even bringing it up. *points to user name* I don't know whether it reflects me or the other way around any more.

Any files in the prelim directories prefixed with something like BAD, OLD, BROKEN or INCOMPLETE are probably not worth getting, they've been replaced but I keep them around in the prelim archive. There should be one file not marked as anything special (in this case jfgprelim.zip), that should be the USF set. Any other files should have someone's name or some variant of "tagged", those are tag sets for the preliminary set. In this case that's jfg_HidoiMidoriRyuu.rar
