Hi sorry if that has been asked before but does in_vgmstream work in XMplay? If so how do you set it up?

Same way you'd set up in Winamp (copy the plugin to plugins subdirectory and the required files to the main player directory IIRC, just RTFM if not).
And yes, it does work just fine.
