Can someone please fix the seeking issue with newer versions of Winamp? can't seek in N64 music files anymore.

Hi.

The capable "someone" is more than likely busy with real life and specially work. Which newer Winamp versions does seeking not work? There are known issues with playback after seeking, so could you describe the issue in detail (have not tried usfs to test myself) All sets that you've tried or one specifically? Is playback fine nonetheless?

Playback is fine, I am using the latest Winamp and beta of 64th note. When seeking it seeks a fraction of the way in then starts seeking from 0 seconds again and just keeps repeating over and over rapidly until I stop the track.

pretty much any set, I've tried about 4 different sets which worked fine in previous versions of Winamp.

Both normal and fast seek work fine here. Tried the v1.2 beta 3 with KI Gold and all is good. Winamp version is 5.572. You could try re-installing Winamp because updating your version sometimes messes up your input files' config.

My bad, it is a problem associated with the OpenAL Output plugin I am using.

Switching to DirectSound yields working Seek.
